Made a new puppy visit. They were able to schedule my little and I at our first convenience.

Only thing I don't like is the fact that they will not let you go in the room with your pet anymore. You have to wait outside the room and they take your pet in.

Absolutely horrible vets. Will never take my dog there again. He had a sudden bout of sharp pain and puking. I called Banfield Flower Mound and took him in. First off, Dr. Cotter should not even be practicing medicine. I told them I was fine with him getting tests done and they did no testing. Instead, they gave him a nausea shot, a pain medicine and sent us home. I was told to bring him back ASAP if his symptoms did not resolve. Dr. Cotter said my dog "just swallowed a bug or something."Within 24 hours, my dog was having sharp pain again and labored breathing. I called Banfield and they were not willing to see him (even though Dr. Cotter had said to call if he had issues again). I ended up taking my dog to a pet ER. The pet ER diagnosed him with something totally different than Banfield Flower Mound and thankfully my dog is improving now. Banfield said my dog "swallowed a bug". The emergency vet said my dog likely suffered from a weak esophagus muscle and acid reflux disease. Will never take him back. Left a bad review on the survey they sent. They called me apologizing and saying they wanted to make things right. I wasn't interested. Considering filing a complaint with the state veterinary board if they won't cancel my wellness plan and let me walk away from their horrid service.A big issue is that you do not actually go in and chat with the vet at Banfield. Instead, you talk to some tech or person at the front desk who may or may not know or understand what you are explaining to to them.DO NOT recommend Banfield in general and definitely not this one. GO ELSEWHERE. They do shoddy medical treatment and thank god I went to a different vet who resolved my dogs issues.

Amazing staff and doctors. Easy to make appointments and get our dog in when needed. Also, I can see all her medical and vacation records on the app.

Been taking my pups here since they were little. The medical plan is good, monthly payments and two checkups a year that end up being affordable.

I sent further info to Lisa R, Customer Service Rep. Never heard back from her or anyone else. Not surprising to me. Just confirms my rating of this 'hospital' at 6060 Long Prairie. (Extremely poor service.) Meanwhile, nothing but good comments about the Banfield Hospital at 2701 Cross Timbers in Flower Mound. This location is the polar opposite of 6060 Long Prairie. These folks have been great. Friendly service, follow-up, and excellent care.

Dr Wolff is the only doctor I trust with my puppies. All 4 dogs are prime health because of her. And the nurses are all angels!!

Our almost 14 year old pit bull Coco wasn't doing well. We ended up making a drop off visit, but when we got there they knew immediately that it was her time to go to sleep permanently. They fit us into the schedule for that hour to put her to sleep. They gave her good bye kisses because they can't have chocolate and it was her last chance to try one. It was really hard to let go, but they made it easier. The lady that checked us in was there the whole time and gave me a hug and showed much compassion as I cried my eyes out. My husband and 22 yr. old son cried with me. Sad but glad they were so nice to us.

Our 10 year old Mini Aussie was recently diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis (congenital) and a mild Mitral Valve leak. Dr Cotter and the staff have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure every single question and concern has been met and addressed.Dr. C takes the time during his very busy day to call and troubleshoot rather than have Cooper come in for a stressful appointment.I absolutely recommend this Banfield location inside Flower Mound Petsmart.Dr. Cotter fosters a sense of care and trust that I have not seen at other Banfield locations.
