I was in town for the weekend. On my way here something happened to my brakes. I made appointment online. Due to being out of town I called to see if I could get in earlier. They said to bring it in. I love the friendliness of the staff. Thoroughly loved the fact that they send you an update via text with pictures. I found out we have one in my town and now will never go anywhere else. Nice facility and very reasonably priced.

I brought my car in to have the brakes checked, and was told they weren’t needed yet. I really appreciate their honesty.

UPDATE: since writing initial review it has been hit or miss service since first post.TODAY 3-7 it was exceptionally great. Husband said front girl was organized and stayed in top of things! Such a relief.INITIAL: This was the best price in town to get a pre inspection on a used hybrid car! They also had me out within 2 hours but hanging out in their nice waiting area and chia tea and comfy chairs wasnt bad at all! Thanks to them i have a new used car and they will help me take car of it:) thanks Randy and the other front guy:).

I will start with the positive. The staff was very friendly, and the waiting room is very clean and comfortable. The problem was I had purchased an alternator from AutoZone with the intention of putting it in myself but ran out of time, so I went to Caliber to have them install it. They did and while they had it in, I asked them to do an oil change. They called back after a few hours and said car was ready for pickup. Fantastic i thought they were even quicker than I expected. After I picked up the vehicle I was driving home and realized that they didn't reset the oil life indicator on the car. No big deal I can easily do that. Then realized that the tire pressure on the driver rear tire was on. They didn't check the tire pressure. Well, I stopped at a gas station and fixed that easily enough. When I restarted the car the battery light came on and I realized the alternator they put on was not charging the car. According to the paperwork they gave me they said it was changed and 'retested'. Upon a quick inspection at home, I noticed that the coolant level on the car was low and there was no wiper fluid at all. I can now only assume that the actual oil change that they charged me for was not actually done and they clearly didn't check the alternator. I took the vehicle back and they said they needed to do a diagnostic on the car ($129) to tell me that it was a bad alternator. They also said the real problem wasn't the alternator, but a VTT solenoid caused the issues with it. Because I made the mistake of providing the part and because it was the solenoid causing the problem they wouldn't warranty the work, so they wanted to charge me another 400+ to replace it again so I declined. Here is the real issue I had. I took it to another shop (giving them no background other than the alternator was put on and not working) who looked at it and said the original problem was the cables on the alternator was loose and that would have caused the alternator to burn up with a voltage spike. Very disappointed in my experience here.

Called in advance to make sure that they did state inspections. I went in and they took my car right away and worked on it very quickly.

UPDATE : After nearly 4 months I was excited to get it back on Thursday only to drive it Saturday morning and find that the original problem that it was taken in for is STILL not fixed. I turned on the heater and it worked great on the drivers side however on the passenger side it was blowing ice cold air as if the AC was on. In what world is having someone's car for 4 months ok? And then to find it still isn't fixed for the original problem. There were lots of problems caused when they tried to repair my car and those seem to be fixed finally. But my problem with air blowing the same temp on both sides if the car is still not fixed. If i could leave a lower review, I would. I do not recommend anyone taking any cars here for anything. They have now had our Honda Odyssey for nearly 4 months. We had to buy a second van because they messed this one up so bad. They have made promise after promise about what the problem was and that they found the problem and throwing parts at it. They have told us at least 4 times it would be done by a certain date, and we either do not hear back from them at all until we can a day or 2 later. We call, and they tell us well its in process well du tell me when it will be back to me and running and working the way I gave it to you nearly 4 months ago. We took it to start this for an actuator door for the ac, which they convinced my wife it needed $3000 worth of stuff, and so it went ahead. And since that time, it's been a nightmare. They might be decent at changing oil, but I wouldn't take them anything else.

Great service experience. Marnia and the team get us up to date on the diagnostic results, the repair and when our car was ready. It's good to have a garage you can trust that does good quality work.

Looking to solve an issue, and only left with a diagnosis and little help. This is the third establishment to tell me the problem, without fixing it, however, Calibar requirs a premium price for their efforts. The individual behind brought me around the desk to show an estimated $150-200 part, with $50-70 in replacing coolant (that was mentioned as not being a concern at this time), and a small replacment costing nearly $400 in repair cost, and nearly $700 after labor before tax. Please note: a diagnosis of the vehicle alone will be $129. The diagnosis is a separate charge. (A total of 18 pictures with a few recommendations, but does not seem throuogh) Highly recommend looking for a place with a significantly cheaper diagnosis. This is not cost effective, nor does it seem beneficial to the buyer with other diagnosis in the area ranging from $45-$85, and some even offering them free. They do offer financing, that is a hard hit to the credit. (They do mention that.) However, the application is difficult to acquire. I've been monitoring the email, and nearly 30 mons after the email sent to the one on file that provided a digital receipt, still no sign of it.Flower Mound Location:At this time, they seem under staffed with a diagnosis taking nearly two hours, so be prepared to drop off your vehicle.Positives, easy wifi, and comfortable seating, and polite staff at the desk. But this is a costly expense before you ever get any work done…it would be best to explore other options that do not seem as exuberant.

Absolutely Amazing. I have been involved with the automotive repair industry my entire life. And happen to have been ASE Master certified in my time. I have NEVER experienced such a well managed, expertly equipped, and professional mechanics as I experienced at Caliber Auto Car Flower Mound Texas location. They were busy, but from what I experienced, their daily parking lot should resemble lunch time crowds at Chickfila or a well run Whataburger. What an excellent Team. And I Thank You! Problem, rear valve cover leaking like a sieve. Noting like replacing the valve cover gaskets on 60's and 70's cars. A bit of a chore. And Caliber's pricing was more competitive than the garages in Argyle Texas. Other local garages should take notice, this facility is EXCELLENT.

Zayne and crew are second to none. The lengths they go to in the name of customer service and satisfaction show they care. They'll tell you straight and do what they say. My 2012 Outback is kicking strong @ 250k partly due to this crew. I appreciate y'all!!!

Went to have an oil change then the skid plate partially hung making loud noise. Lost work today. No sincere apologies, just this happens all the time. Really is a problem that cost me money for work.

I have just moved, and I always find it hard to get a new auto maintenance location for my 2008 Saab 9-3 convertible. This time I was very fortunate, in that I found Caliber Auto Care quite close to my new home. I called and made an appointment for normal maintenance and was immediately surprised. When I called and asked if they could do my normal maintenance, I asked a few specific questions. I individual wasn't able to answer the questions directly, so put me on hold to ask the head mechanic before answering the question. I was very impressed that she didn't try to answer what she was not qualified to answer. I was able to make an appointment for about an hour later and when I entered the facility it was clean, welcoming and had a comfortable waiting area. My car was immediately taken in for service and was about a 45-minute wait for completion. The best surprise was the cost. It was very reasonable, and they had checked all of the normal filters and fluid levels and found them to be in satisfactory conditions and levels, I am very impressed and will back when my car needs additional service. Respectfully, Ed Shockley Highland Village, TX
