Great gym. Although the members are predominantly high school age - they leave me alone & are very serious about their workouts.

Great equipment. Wish they had paper towels or cleanex in the bathrooms though.

I've been to 5 other gyms over the last 5 years and this is hands down the best gym I've been to. No need for me to look further. Has a ton of equipment and always clean.

Clean gym, the music is a little loud & during breaks there seems to be a lot of high schoolers but overall i'm very happy with this gym

I recently joined this location with the goals of getting stronger and becoming more flexible. The first day I dropped in for a tour — the lady at the front was so nice, and showed me the entire place. I felt very welcomed, and didn’t feel the least bit judged or looked down upon as a plus size person. The next day I took advantage of their “free trial day” and was really impressed with how clean and organized everything was. The following day after that I officially joined and haven’t missed a weekday since! It is a generous sized gym with separate areas for arms / legs machines, treadmills / ellipticals / stationary bikes / etc, free weights, weight lifting, core machines / stretching area. There is also as a separate “quiet” room with doors, hardwood floors and mirrors where they host classes (this room also has yoga mats, smaller weights, and stepping blocks). The ladies locker room is large and clean, with private toilet stalls, several showers, lockers, large mirrors, and a few electrical outlets by the sinks.I’ve been very happy that so far I have had no uncomfortable encounters with anyone, and at the time I go it isn’t so crazy busy that I rarely have to wait for a particular machine.

This gym has everything you need! I visited on a Saturday morning, typical busy time but the gym was spacious and Spotless. Plenty of equipment to get in a nice lift when in town.

Vincent is a stand up guy. I stayed with this gym because of him. I was about to cancel my membership due to issues with freezing my account, but he listened to me and made me feel heard. Thanks Vincent. I appreciate you more than you know.

This gym was absolutely awesome - a great community and the manager Vince is an all time dude - highly recommend for the price too.

Excellent gym that’s super clean with friendly staff. There’s plenty of machines at a very affordable price.

Hands down the worst gym I’ve ever been to. Everyone is working out in flip flops and crocs. There is no dress code, the lights blind you when lifting, and the tripods. But hey if you need your ego scratched. This is your gym.

Originally five stars, but when I cancelled my membership due to the fact I prefer to exercise outdoors, they charged me an extra month since they require a 30-day notice. Obviously they don't need 30 days, just a way to make money. I signed up originally because it was no fees no contract, but requiring an extra 30 days is a contract. Update - Gold's has now hired an attorney, Aldous & Associates, to come after me for the $69 they wanted me to pay for the 30 extra days after I cancelled my membership. Guess you need to have some money set aside for legal fees before you go to this gym, lol!

Disappointment in management and their customer service.I work full time and I'm a mother of a newborn. My time and energy is limited/valuable.I took off 3 months to care for my child. Got a doctor's note WITHOUT a letterhead. Management accepted it and froze my account. FYI, if you have a medical letter of necessity to freeze your membership, you don't have to pay to freeze your membership. If you just want to freeze your membership (without a doctor's note), they make you pay a monthly fee even while your account is frozen.I went to my medical provider tp receive a medical note to freeze my account again and brought it to the gym after work. I gave it to Vincent, he read my doctor's note and called the general manager to discuss my doctor's note. He comes back and states that the note does not have a letterhead and he needs one WIITH a letterhead to make sure it's a real doctor's note. I understand. I go to my OB/GYN and get a doctor's note. They state they don't have a letterhead for their notes, but they stamp their address and clinic on the top of the note and state that the gym can call them to verify they are real medical professionals and I'm not attempting to forge a letter just to freeze my account.Vincent says that I can e-mail him the letter and he checks his e-mails and will get back to me timely. I call the next day to verify if they've received my medical letter. No one follows up with me. I call 3 more times with no response. I finally call and I'm tossed back and forth from the front desk to the general manager.I speak to the general manager and he states that I cannot freeze my account for more than a year because of policy. I understand that. I ask him if he could at least e-mail me the policy. He states that I "need to do my due diligence" and "look it up myself." I just find this saddening. This is coming from a manager. Whatever happened to providing good service? It was a simple, No. You can look it up yourself. What type of management is this? You know what would have been great. My time not being wasted. The 2nd time I try to freeze my account, it should have been taken care of. The manager informing me that I cannot freeze more than a year and me cancelling my membership that very same day. Instead, they make me go back to my provider and get a medical note with a letterhead. Not follow up with me after I call multiple times to ensure the medical note was received. Then after I finally get a hold of someone, I am told that I need to do my own due diligence to look up policy. I don't have time for the run around. This shows they do not value other people's time. Now, I have to go in person to cancel my membership after working all day and then come home to take care of my baby. Just a lack of consideration for clientele.

Best gym around, I drive 30 minutes everyday to this gym because there’s no other gyms that comes close to this gym. Great staff especially Vincent. It’s clean and has great machines.

It’s a decent spot. Very clean and well staffed. My only issue is the equipment is slightly lacking. I used to go to the one in Richardson and it’s amazing, so I was surprised to see this one has no free-bar preacher curl set up, only machines and no flat or curved bar free weights. Still a good gym, I was just surprised they didn’t have more free weights.

Music is too loud. Management doesn't listen to customer complaints about it. I can't hear my own music or have a conversation with the front desk employees without yelling.
