I’ve been a fairly regular customer at Vape and Leaf for a while, but my recent visit really disappointed me. I came in during my lunch break just to grab a single Geek Bar—something that should’ve taken 2 minutes. The dude that I believe to be the owner told me he’d be right with me, then proceeded to have a 6+ minute casual conversation with other customers about contractors and mushroom gummies, all while I stood there waiting. I left frustrated without the vape I was after because I had no more time to stand and WASTE.
I understand answering questions or helping customers, but completely ignoring someone who clearly just needed a quick transaction is frustrating, inconsiderate, and disrespectful. Respecting a customer’s time is basic service, especially when it’s obvious they’re in a hurry. And after having worked in numerous vape and smoke shops myself, it’s not hard to read a room and pick up on things like that. I hope this gets addressed, because it left a bad taste in my mouth.
