I've been going here a couple of years now since a friend recommended them and I don't ever want to change vets. Dr. Palma, especially, has been wonderful with dealing with me being very dramatic and my Jeepers being hyper.I cant thank the vet techs enough for not judging me every time I come in sobbing with concerns over my babies and my wallet. Brendon is so kind and compassionate, he's the kind of guy you trust with your drink and your pet.I cant recommend them enough. Caring for sick/hurt animals is hard, but these guys help make it not suck as much.

So thankful. I called an hour before they closed. My dog who is very old was not doing well at all while I was at work was in bad shape. Very dehidrdrated, multiple messy issues just a perfect mess. They said no problem bring her in. And they were so awesome , did their best and my old lady is laying down relaxing for the first time all day after struggling for hours. Things are bad and you gave me something good. Thank you. Great job staff , I can't say enough !

I love this place! Dr. Palma created a treatment plan that was tailored to my old Dane and his less than stellar lab work. Jack, the surgery technician did an amazing job with my guy and I was very much appreciative of his care team. This team is dedicated to the best care of your pet and I couldn’t have been more thankful! You all rock!

Our sweet doggy was in a bad condition and we brought her here. They were super supportive and considerate of the whole situation. Following the urn and paw print we received a card with their condolences. The urn was a perfect memorial for our baby. Although this was a sad situation I couldn’t of been happier bringing her here.

I loved taking my baby boy here, he unfortunately got seriously sick and didn’t get better. But this VCA hospital helped us so much to get as far as we did, the diagnostic hospital wanted to do an expensive procedure to fix his glucose levels after they dropped from his steroids, but luckily the VCA Angel hospital had someone visiting them that knew how to do the procedure and it wouldn’t cost over $5K. Dr. Palma and Kohler helped me with the entire week as we waited for results and his fast decline. They were so patient and broke news to me delicately, I kept breaking down with every news and their empathy was helpful. The only thing I did not like was when I got my babies remains, while I know it wasn’t the hospital, the crematorium spelt his name wrong on everything…his last paw print, his plaque, and his cremation certificate. As I stated I get very emotional and I did appreciate them checking in on me after I discovered this mishap and how they got it fixed. I ended up moving before I got the fixed items and they were so kind enough to make sure it all was fixed and mailed it to me, they even got me a refund for the cremation! While my experience was amazing the spelling mishap is the only reason I gave them 4 stars, the staff is beyond nice and will answer any question you have, including the ones you might think are dumb, they never make you feel like an idiot for asking and will answer all the questions you have! If they aren’t 100% on an answer they consult all their colleagues, I have never seen so much team work and I hope all of y’all get to experience their kindness and devotion to your babies! Just make sure your babies name is spelt right, but the doctors and staff will help you with everything else. The treatment plans, constant communication as far as progress, and the love they show your baby is just a few reasons to check them out!I will forever be grateful with all their help during that difficult time and the fact they were able to repurpose all his meds to those in need in honor of my baby boy, god bless y’all and I will pray for everyone who works there!

My babe girl Sylaise was two days out the shelter and had worms. We were running late they still took us in and did a fantastic job with her. On top of educating us on how she may have gotten sick they informed us of possible future care she might need. over all probaly the most calm vet visit I've ever had with my pets.

Had to bring my dog in bc my regular vet was unavailable and it was an urgent visit. The vet techs were kind and loving, the front desk guy was so kind and nice and Dr. Tobane was amazing. She was so thorough and was empathetic and kind and loving. Pricing was provided before services rendered. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I brought my very ill Shepherd in after my actual vet was too busy to see her. My dog has a tumor in her spleen. VCA cared for my dog with great care. I left feeling informed of my options and prepared for the passing of my favorite pet. The cost was comparable to my usual vet. While I don't usually like the feel of large vet offices, this place was what we needed. I have already recommended this hospital to family.

We spend a lot of time here because my dogs can’t stop getting into trouble. All of the staff members love my dogs, and we always have a great experience there.

I always appreciate the service here, but this is more of a thank you to the staff of compassionate people working here. Within a month, my family had to put down 2 of our fur babies. The love, care, and support was incredible and they treated us like family. God bless you for that! ?

VCA helped me out with my puppy when we needed to include vomiting. Our regular vet was closed and the emergency vet had a long wait. They squeezed me in with an hour left before they closed and took awesome care of my puppy! I really appreciate their willingness to help out at the last minute and they took great care of my dog. Thanks Dr. Tabone!

My dogs have been going to VCA Angel for several years now, and although the cost of vet care there can be a bit pricey, I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. Dr Palma is wonderful with my dogs and always listens to my concerns. He has successfully done two tumor removal surgeries in the past year for my Koba, and always has the best interest of my dogs in mind when caring for them. The staff (Jack) has always been willing to go through every detail of the treatment plans pricing with me and do multiple revisions when asked to see things every possible way before agreeing on a plan. Yes vet care is OUTRAGEOUS, but have you ever looked at what human physicians and surgeons are charging? I will gladly pay for quality care and the expertise of Dr. Palma and the staff at VCA Angel above any other place for my animals. Thank you Dr. Palma, Jack, and staff for taking care of Koba and Romeo.

We have been a client of VCA Flower Mound for 13 years — after being out of town for two months, I called to schedule my dog’s over-due monthly allergy shot. I also explained that I was leaving the next morning on a week-long business trip. Because she was also due for her exam, they outright declined to give her the shot until she was seen for her exam (and I paid the several hundred dollars for the exam)—however, they didn’t have any openings until the next week when I would be gone. Unfortunately, my dog was really suffering. I tried to ask if they would give her the allergy shot now and I would make an appointment and bring her back in for the full exam when I returned—but Caitlin and Blake at the front desk were extremely rude and outright refused to work with us. They would rather lose a 13 year long client than work with a patient to ensure my dog is comfortable now, keep a client, and book an exam time for a week away when I would certainly bring her back in for the exam. Extremely disappointed and honestly upset that I was treated rudely and that nobody at VCA was able to think outside of the box to help ensure my dog’s comfort this one time.

Took our pup here as we are trying to find a vet familiar with his condition. No luck.Initially loved the reception and the display of empathy.Even after leaving no better off than when we came, not getting any answers, I still felt them to be empathetic and compassionate. Then a week ago, I check to see about getting an Rx for pups ear infection and am told they refuse to provide any care for him and to go elsewhere. No explanation given. Our pup is a complicated case, but none of the vets in the area have an answer and seem interested in putting any effort into attempting to solve the mystery. None have done even a full exam.Pup has swelling and pain in his neck, difficulty swallowing, a muscle that is rapid firing in his neck, and can’t walk now after months of being unable to find a vet that cares enough to care to get to a diagnosis or try any treatments.MRI clean, X-ray clean, Infectious disease panel clean, CBC clean. UA clean. BUT HAS A DEFINITE POTENTIAL FOR NECK INJURY. Nobody has even looked inside his mouth. Neurology has nothing. Internal medicine has nothing.VCA was what we thought to be our last hope. We even where in the process of having mobile euthanasia come to house. But this pup does not quit.Like any puppy (he’s now about 10 months old), he wants to eat, drink, p**** pee, play, and sleep and sleep and sleep. We found a new vet that remove red that becoming a doctor required research, open eyes, open ears and an open mind and not a quitting attitude because something is not difficult and doesn’t fit a textbook. Some textbooks have not been written. Some advances are waiting to be discovered. But not at VCA.Refusing a sick animal and refusing to say why? Something does not seem kosher about this, as you have caused needless delay of care.Just like the medical system for people sucks, so does veterinary care. Why?…complacency, churn and burn business models, profit before life? It’s this way because we say “that’s just the way it is”. This is crap…it’s because it’s the way we allow it to be and make no effort to make it about the life it’s supposed to be saving or improving or maybe even giving a good ending to.You chose to be a vet, our pup did not choose to be sick.We chose to have faith and trust, you chose to wipe your hands and move on to something easier. Our pets are our children, just imagine you kid being sick, unable to find answers, unable to find a doctor that cares as you do anything to save your child. You would scratch and claw to give your kid a shot at life…I mean you need to go elsewhere…sorry.VCA please make sure all documents, notes, labs, imaging, recordings are maintained. I sense they might come up again sometime. The old adage that “ if you didn’t write it down it didn’t happen “ takes a back seat when there is a standard of care to be followed. You could have said ok, treat, stabilize and transfer care…but instead you chose to refuse emergent care and for us to find somewhere else to go. PITIFUL

Was quoted $900 today for a simple spay of a 5 month old female kitten. She is fully vaccinated, healthy, not in heat or pregnant. Who do they think can afford almost a grand to spay a kitten? Ridiculous.
