Had a bad experience today at Be Lush Salon. We’re do I start, I went in for highlights and came out with darker hair. ANGELA, She over cooked my hair, put the wrong color, answered the phone, talked to other customers instead of concentrating on my hair. She had to color my hair darker to fix it and barely put any highlights in it. It was a total waste of money. I would NOT NOT recommend this Salon.

Be Lush is my favorite salon in DFW. It's at Hwy 80 and FM548. Hair salon, makeup, hair products and boutique. The girls Angie and Carina are wonderful. There's a barber/stylist, Perry. Angie, the hair stylist, is not only a beautician but a magician. Carina's boutique, is Gem, clothes, shoes and accessories. You'll love it.

I hate when a salon gets a poor reputation because of stylists who rent space and reviewers don't post the name of the person they had a poor experience with. It's unfair to those people who come later and do good work. I don't understand why you would leave a review like that. I use Angela and she is a rockstar. A girlfriend and I both had some horrible experiences at other salons in Forney and at a party I was telling her about the new stylist I discovered. She was telling me she found a new stylist too whom she really really liked. It turns out we were both talking about Angela. She does a fantastic job and is fun and personable. There is a male barber that I met and the owner, Sadaf, and they were all very friendly. I can't speak for their work but they seemed to genuinely care about their customers. Today they had a Botox party and we joined it too. I've never had Botox so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was also a good experience.

Angela butchered my hair, it was choppy, uneven, and MUCH shorter than the picture I showed her. Then I went and got my chin, lip, and brows waxed with the lady there (can't remember her name tho) and she ripped my skin off my chin! It hurt so bad, it's red and rough. Cant cover it up w makeup or anything. She did give me a good deal since I got all three services but I have to go around looking like I've got scales on my face for however long. Really really bad experience all around. I left a message for the manager day before yesterday and haven't heard a thing back. DO NOT GO HERE!

If I could give this negative stars I would. One day in June, I walked into the salon and was greeted by Angela McAllister. I asked her if she would be able to color my hair purple ombre. She was very excited and said absolutely. I sent her many pictures of what I wanted and talked about it thoroughly. The day of, she presents me with colors that she had someone buy for her - one of them being indigo. I told her that I wanted purple and that indigo is more on the blue side. She used the color anyways as well as 3 or 4 other shades of purple. She also left the bleach on for 4 hours because she said it wasn't processing enough and my hair was still yellow instead of white. After being there from 10-6 my hair looked good but it wasn't what I asked for. Yeah I got compliments but again, it wasn't what we talked numerous times about. I waited 4 days to wash my hair and when I did, I made sure to use sulfate free shampoo/conditioner just as Angela told me. Tons of color washed down the drain and was left on my pillow case. I thought this was normal but when I dried it, most of the purple was gone and instead, there were blue "highlights" in my hair. I contacted Angela on Saturday and showed her pictures of my blue hair. She said to come in Tuesday and she would redo it. I asked her to just use one purple this time (1 - to save time because I didn't want to be there for another 6 hours) (2 - because I really just wanted to see purple). I asked her if she was going to need to bleach it again to prep for the new color but she said it wouldn't be necessary. When she was finished my hair was a bright beautiful purple but once again after waiting 3 days, the color literally rinsed out of my hair ( I didn't even wash it, I only rinsed it). When this happened, I once again showed Angela who was baffled by why this was happening. About a week and a half went by when I decided that it was not ok for this to happen to my hair. I paid over $200 for my hair to be purple and I understood that it was eventually going to fade, but I literally only had purple hair for one day. At this point, my hair was light blue, green and yellow color. I went back to the salon to try to get a refund but Angela said I would have to ask the owner. Sadaf was so rude to me and generalized me as being "you people" that try to come in here to get their hair done for nothing. I told her that I just wanted what I paid for and I hadn't paid for my hair to be purple for only one day. We went back and forth for a long time while I kept insisting that the hair color should NOT have rinsed out and that is not what I paid for. She was not budging in her stance and the only thing she would offer me was to color it back to brown and finally she also said that she would do a conditioning treatment as well. Guess what? Now there's a tinge of green in my hair. I'm never going back to that salon again and if you read all of my post, I suggest you don't go there either.

When I first walked in I was a little nervous me being a fellow cosmetologist I'm always weary of going to new people to do my hair. I had the best experience ever and he did such a wonderful job that I will definitely be going back to him he made me feel extremely comfortable.Viron roe is his name.
