If I had seen all these terrible reviews about this chase location, I would not have even gotten close to it. I had the worst customer service experience from their so called Vice president customer relations/small business. I will take time to write my detailed review later. I will also be reaching out to Chase HQ about this. Either they close this Forney Branch or simply turn it into a Chase training center....Appalling!

I recently hit a rough patch and had to get a credit card to help me get by for awhile. I needed to try to get a cash advance so I went to the bank to find out what I needed to do to obtain this. I was blessed to have met Traci that day. I was unable to get the cash advance I needed but Traci was able to advise me on other ways to get help. I was too waiting for my card to arrive and she called and found out when the card was mailed and was able to get another card sent to me in a rush delivery which would help me. If waited on the other card it would've been over a week later. She too assisted me in applying for another card and I was approved! My limit for one is $5000 with high apr and the other limit is 4500 with no apr for 15 months. She called me later today and said to get back with her after I get the cards and perhaps she can get the limit from the one card transferred to the other card allowing more of a limit with no apr. She did this on her own. She went above and beyond to find ways to help me. I got injured at work and lost my job and have been dealing with work comp and I can't work so getting these cards will help me to stay afloat until I can get my settlement. I was so grateful for her going above and beyond. God really answered my prayers went he allowed me to meet her. This branch has always been great for me and I highly recommend it and will continue to go there.

Heads up! If you open a brand new checking account, and a month or 2 later, make a huge deposit into your account it will be placed on hole for 7 business days before you could draw the funds from your account. This is because of fraud. Chase bank is tired of getting hit with fraud so the new customers will have to suffer for that. The cashier's check was verified by the credit union who cut the check, but Chase has decided that they have to call for the 4 or 5th time to verify the credit union's check is not a bogus check.
You, the customer, will be denied YOUR money until the check is released from being on hold. I'm done with banks. I had to be told, by the bank, not the people who placed the hold and also release it, 7 days remove it. They verified the check, but still undecided about releasing it. If I was aware of this practice when depositing the check, I would have taken my check back, and went to my credit union. Now I have to sit and wait for Chase bank to call me once they have verified the check for the I don't know how many times.
Chase Bank customers are being screwed over big time. The interest on your money, Chase is making profit off your hard worked dollars. I the deposited the cashier's check on a Monday afternoon, 14 Apr 2024 and was told that the cashier's check should ready on 24 Apr 2024. I am combat veteran who is going through a divorce and need to pay my lawyer. The cashier's check was issued from a Texas credit union and cleared by the credit union 2 days ago. It is now Apr 18, 2024 and Chase will not release the hold on my CASHIER'S CHECK. A cashier's check was issued from the credit union member's account. The member has to have the money in their account to request a cashier's check from their bank or credit union. Chase Bank is making a lot of profits from their customers deposits due to their unprofessional practices. How can a bank that big sweat $20,000 cashier's check? Checks are placed on hold and cleared when Chase Bank close out for the month, and making a profit off your money. I will NEVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT AT A BANK AGAIN!!! I will stick with my Navy Federal Credit Union accounts. Infinite Banking is the way to go. Penn Mutual has a really good system and when you borrow your money, you are borrowing against yourself. Penn Mutual will ask no questions regarding your withdrawal. You are your own bank. The customer is not the priority when it comes to big banks. I will be reporting this unprofessionalism to the FDIC, FCC, and Consumer Complaints.
Oh, a call center operator had the audacity to asked how did I come into the money. The is normal practice with Chase Bank now. I told him that it was none of his business. This idiot asked me again "How did I come into that amount money?" I hung up in his face.
Chase bank, please english speaking call centers operators. I had a hard time understanding with they were saying. Again, if your checking account is newly opened, DO NOT DEPOSIT A LARGE PERSONAL OR CASHIER'S CHECK IF YOU NEED YOUR FUNDS IMMEDIATELY. Chase employees apparently, can ask you how did you come into the large sum of money. Even though they have the check. Punish the customers who is trusting a bank to hold their money. NEVER AGAIN. As a large bank, you are worried about fraud and you are insured. Upsetting the customer. Chase Bank DO NOT CARE about what you have going on in your life. From my experience with this bank. The bank only care about their money and paying out fraud.

Extremely disappointing customer service. My husband attempted to withdraw 200 from their ATM and it did not dispense the amount. No one at this branch was able to assist us and they handed my husband a sticky note with a number to call. When we asked for the manager, they gave us a name of Christie and she was “unable”’to assist us. Not sure about you guys, but we do not have 200 bucks to spare in this economy. My husband and I are closing both of our accounts.

The walmart of banks. Chase is one of the worst banks, every 2 years I open a checking account with them just to get a free 300$. This bank is trash, that's why I take your 300$ and leave losers.

Walked in to see about a temporary card, until mines arrived in the mail. The two workers, was in the front, standing next to me, just talking amongst themselves, they didn’t greet or say anything. Until I walked towards them, the white lady, still didn’t speak, only the big guy. Anyways, I asked them do they have any temporary cards, he stated no. We only do digit wallet, I said okay and left. But, the customer service at the location is very trash!! They needs to train their employees better!

Chase Bank's customer service fell far below expectations. The long wait times and lack of expertise from representatives were incredibly frustrating. Their indifference and lack of attentiveness left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I cannot recommend Chase Bank to those who value prompt and efficient customer service.

I like Chase but this branch is just not well run. It is extremely busy always, there is always a long line for a teller which most people need. They insist on trying to make people use the kiosk which no one uses. And always have one or two people in the front directing you to a kiosk. Those people should be working a tellers not directing people to a kiosk they do t want to use. They closed the front part of the branch and put in a kiosk or two and if you want a teller you stand in a long line down a hallway for the drive tellers to service you. It is the worst experience ever. The staff is nice but clearly overwhelmed all the time. They need new management in the branch to make experience way less frustrating for customers which clearly shows from the review. I been with Chase a long time but I require teller assist because of my business and I think it's about time to move. They clearly don't care about the customer experience but being told each time I go in I'm sorry for the long wait is just not cutting it. Again no complaints about the staff they are overworked and understaffed but very nice. The branch needs a proactive manager to address the issue.
