I went in for an oil change and inspection, one of the workers asked if I wanted my filters changed too and said they already had the right ones there. After about an hour wait they told me it was because the filters were being delivered. They also took my insurance paperwork and never gave it back to me.

Pulled in for a top off on my oil. Was greeted by uniformed professionals lead by Scott Gardner who quickly took care of my truck. Great job!

Three months ago, Kwik Kar Lube in Forney performed a mobile oil change service for my neighbors across the street from my home. As my neighbors were backing out of their driveway immediately after the service, there was a significant oil spill from that same vehicle that stained the street directly in front of my home and portions of my driveway. The damage is extremely visible and occurred in front of my brand-new construction home, which I just bought and moved into in early 2025.
A manager at Kwik Kar admitted the spill was their fault and said they would take care of it. After weeks with no follow-up, I contacted a general manager who again assured me it would be handled. Nothing happened.
I then emailed one of the owners, who responded, “Received. I passed this along to the manager — I have no part in daily operations.” I have a picture of the screenshot of this response below.
After about a month, I followed up again. During a phone call, the general manager was rude and dismissive. His exact words were, “Well, the owner has been out of town, but I’ll let him know again — though I doubt he’ll do anything about it.”
It has now been nearly three months, and the damage has not been repaired or addressed in any way. I am sharing this so others are aware of how situations are handled by this Kwik Kar location in Forney when property damage is caused. Despite multiple follow-ups, no action has been taken to resolve the issue. Photos of the damage are included below.

They tried to scam me to make a quick buck.
I just came in for a state inspection, but one of the mechanics came and told me that my air filter and cabin air filter were dirty and hadn’t been changed in a while. He said they were going to go ahead and change them out for me. I told him no thanks since I usually change them myself. But here’s the catch: I HAD ALREADY CHANGED THEM DAYS BEFORE.
I went home to check them and, sure enough, they were like new. Definitely not dirty.
What a disappointment. I liked this place. I’d been coming here for my oil changes, but never again.

I’ve been bringing my car here for oil changes and inspections for 5 years. The workers are always polite and respectful which is not seen a lot anymore. They do a quality job and never takes an extreme amount of time. We have been very pleased with this location.

Got an oil change a couple weeks back here and noticed an oil leak soon after . Turns out my drain plug is stripped out of a sudden. They didn’t really offer much alternatives other than put a new plug on but of course that didn’t work. Now I have to replace the whole pan. Be cautious coming here.
Also there customer service seems to have declined over the years.

I am so glad to see Scott Gardner as General Manager of Kwik Kar, Forney location. I have know him for 20+ years dating back to his Red Oak store. Scott is one of the greatest, most trust worthy men I have ever know. Him and Bill, (RIP). Thank you Scott for coming to the Forney location. It was truly a blessing running into you this morning. All three of my vehicles will now be serviced at Kwik Kar Forney from now on. God bless my friend, it was good to see you.

Went in for an Inspection and AC work on my car, they are fast, I recommend Kwik Kar in Forney, they have excellent service!
