Brand new vehicle and driver side mirror scratched badly in parking lot. I ordered a new mirror cover that came primed. Grimes Paint and Body painted the new cover, took off the old cover and put on the new one. This was a very small job and I was very pleased with the service provided. Very nice to deal with this company as it was a very pleasant and professional experience. Highly recommend this company to anyone.

The service was quick and efficient. However, the cost associated with my side view mirror was over 300$. When I originally received my quote it was for 1.6 hrs. The time to fix my damaged side view mirror from when the man walked out of the building and walked back in was 15 minutes max. When I inquired about the fee, both the man in the office and receptionist seemed to stammer unable to effectively communicate with me why the cost had not been adjusted for the actual time. The man (Dustin I believe was his name) stated something along the lines of the projected estimate of 1.6hrs is if a “newbie” were to go and do the job vs someone more experienced who could get it done faster. I wish things were communicated to me better. I understand it is an estimate, meaning it has the potential to change. The estimate did not change, it remained the same for a 1.6 hr job that only took 15 minutes. However, the estimate did not reflect the reality of the cost for the services/parts/labor provided and the explanation to go with it was not well communicated which makes me feel lied to. Just make sure you review all of what is presented to you and ask all necessary questions to the appropriate people.
Update- I repeat the work was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated. Thankfully the owner contacted me and explained the situation and the circumstances of the fee. I appreciate the call because I was able to understand the fees and not feel deceived. I truly don’t think there was any malicious intent, just a miscommunication. The misunderstanding on my part was thankfully cleared up. I appreciate the clarity Edward was able to provide and I would absolutely recommend this facility. Communication and understanding is everything to me, having him take time out of his day to explain things to me is a clear indicator to me that he cares about what he does and his clients matter to him.

I had a wonderful experience with Grimes paint &body. I took my vehicle in to them. They asked me what was most valuable to me about my vehicle. I told them that the sensor was going off whenever I drove my vehicle, not so much as the dent. Hepulledl my vehicle into the shop and adjusted the sensor. He brought my vehicle back to me, and I was on my way. Thank you so much..
