I took my 87 year old mother to the branch in Forney TX and was humiliated. First they refused to allow my mother who was released from hospital with bags and ports hooked up to her. Then once I got her inside they refused to cash her checks with am ATM card. They required her to bring her ID from home before they could simply cash a check that she have been cashing over the past 5 years. What a mess! Beware of this location not customer friendly at all.

When it came time to refinance my car and camper, I had the pleasure of working with Angela Rodriguez, and I can’t say enough good things about her. Angela’s professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail are truly outstanding. She didn’t just get the job done — she took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I understood all my options, and worked incredibly hard to secure the best outcome for me.
Her communication was excellent, her attitude was positive and reassuring, and she made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Angela went above and beyond in every way, and her dedication honestly makes me wish I had switched to Neighborhood Credit Union years ago.

I have been getting the run around so far about my debit card it is coming on 2 works that it has not made it here. I have called the number many times, which isn't the best experience to begin with since the hold times are long just to get 2 minutes of information. I was given an email by a teller at my local kaufman location and she stated that if I hadn't received my card by a certain date to email her, and i did, only I didnt receive a response after 2 days, she also informed me that i could get an immediate print at the forney location. I set up child care so i could go to the forney location the following day i realized i wasnt going to get a response. I am almost to forney when I noticed online that it was closed so I called the number again to confirm and was told there was a gas smell and the rep would call me back to let me know when they opened back up which in turn no one called. Next day I look online to see the forney location is open so I make the hour drive and get there right at opening and there are 2 people ahead of me. While myself and 2 small children wait in their sitting area and another employee was sitting in her office, she looked Caucasian with short reddish hair and heavier set, and spoke to my children in an unpleasant tone to which I told her that I have already told them what I needed to and she responded with she didnt know I was there. If she had gotten up she could clearly see i was there managing the but instead she wants to be rude so early in the morning to small children. After 15 minutes of waiting I am called up next just to be informed that there was an update to their debit card system so this was all for nothing and I wont lie, I just walked out at that point.

I’ve had to visit the Forney branch on several occasions over the past few months. All of the staff, Laura, Abel, and Rondina, have been amazing in helping me get my issues resolved. They’ve been very patient and kind at each interaction. They are appreciated.

This location deserves extra stars. I needed a new debit card and the super friendly staff helped with the replacement. They even entertained me while I waited for the new card. Great group of people work there.

I scheduled an online appointment at the Neighborhood Credit Union to open a checking and savings account. I received a confirmation stating that Angela R. would be the bank advisor assisting me, and the appointment was expected to take approximately 45 minutes. To streamline the process, I completed all the required online paperwork in advance.
Upon my arrival, the teller at the front informed me that Angela had stepped out but assured me that someone else would assist me. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was preparing to leave when I was informed that an “online specialist” would need to process my application first and that I would need to return at a later time.
This was a significant inconvenience, as I made a dedicated trip to the branch based on my confirmed appointment. As a potential new customer, I am disappointed with the lack of communication, efficiency, and overall customer service experience. I would appreciate any clarification on this process and whether there are more effective ways to handle new account openings to prevent similar issues in the future.
