These guys were unbelievably quick, thorough and friendly. We have a small LLC and the books are always a hot mess (my bad?.) Kim was so patient and helpful guiding me through everything and making a lot of changes for the better. I procrastinated on getting our taxes filed and they were able to rush and get them done before the deadline. So so happy to have finally found a great, local CPA. We’ve had 4 different ones in 5 years, no one ever stuck, and it was exhausting always looking for a new one. Melissa in the front desk is so sweet and friendly! Great place!!!

This office is like family. I own several businesses and have been using SF for a couple of years now. They make the process so fun and easy! For someone that barely passed Accounting, I am beyond thankful that they are here in Forney and can help me with the tax time madness! I have learned more in 3 years working with them than I ever did in college courses. They have the individual's and business owner's best interest at heart and truly want to see you succeed.

I brought my information to them for a quote(because i was quoted a ridiculous amount elsewhere). I was told they would call me soon with a quote. well that did not happen. I called back at least 2 times a week for a month. I never got past the receptionist (who was quite obtuse). Mr. Smith was always busy or out of the office. The last time I called to check on my quote, the receptionist was very rude to me. She raised her voice to me and insulted me. I hung up on her and did not call back. A month after that happened, she called me and told me that my tax was finished being prepared. After her bout of rudeness, I had my taxes prepared elsewhere. I told her that I had my taxes prepared elsewhere. I got curious to see if I had missed out on a deal and asked her how much they had charged me to prepare them. The price was outrageous, considering what my taxes entailed. I was happy that I had my taxes prepared elsewhere. I told her i d come by to get my Information and original copies promptly. She replied rudely telling me I was still required to pay. I slowed down my speech to help with the communication problem we were having. 1. I asked for a quote. 2. She was rude to me. 3. I had my taxes prepared elsewhere because of #2. She had the audacity to lie and tell me that I am still required to pay for the service...even though i didn t ask for it. I hung up on her. I laughed it off and thought i got out of that scam. I received many more calls from them attempting to collect a debt for something that i didn t ask for. finally i received a call from Mr Smith himself. It was a glorious moment, i m sure. He informed me that they would be suing me if i did not pay the bill. I explained to him the situation, hoping that he would understand. He is a business man after all. He told me that I did not ask for a quote. HE LIED TO ME. of course. a true business man. I explained the situation again...only slower because of the obvious communication problem. He didn t catch on. I told him i would not pay for a service i did not ask for. He said ok. I must add that he did use swear words and he did raise his voice to me. I m guessing he understood i d not be back...so why treat a person who isn t conducting business with him...like an equal. The call was ended and my problem was forgotten. recently I was contacted by a law agency to collect a debt to Smith financial. The told me that i signed a paper saying i allow them to prepare my taxes. I asked the representative to email me that piece of paper for proof. Indeed i had. The information sheet. Oh i felt so stupid. i paid happily and am now posting my experience with this awful company. The problem i have with this company is that they were, slow, rude, obtuse, and was unethical. They prepared my taxes when i only asked for a quote. I screwed myself by signing the piece of paper while giving my information(i did not read it thoroughly). The point is that they knew they could get my money so they did it...even though they did not file my taxes. They did not listen to the service i asked for (a quote). They were rude and very slow. Instead of treating me like a person, they treated me like a dollar bill. I understand money is slow now...but their morality is skewed. I was disrespected by every person from this company and hope nobody has the same experience i did. I will say that i am glad to say that i made them work for the money instead of just paying them up front when they demanded it. The people that work for this company are weasels. They will steal your money if they can and they will spit in your face while you do it. The least i can do is spit back in theirs. *SPAT* Good day SIR!
