My 4yr old stated going here last year (2023) and I am so happy we picked this school. Staff is very caring and on top of everything. School environment is also amazing and supportive for kids.

This is by far the best school my little ones have attended! Staff and owner are very nice and actually care for their students. The fact that I can go to work knowing my children are at a safe environment is very comforting. As far as academically, my kids have done a complete turn around in these past few months in this school. It’s amazing how GREAT teachers can have that affect on our future.

I absolutely love The Goddard School!! It is such a warm and welcoming environment and you can tell with the faculty how great of a school it is. It is such a clean facility and everyone there, including the front office team is so warm and welcoming, and really made me feel at ease! I would 10 out of 10 recommend!!

My child’s first year attending this school, I can honestly say that I am so grateful to have found a school like this with so much integrity, super friendly teachers that really care about our students future . Not to mention he has learned so much in these couple of months. I’m impressed , if you’re looking for great education, friendly atmosphere, where you can trust that your little one be taken care of this is definitely the place they should attend. Thank you Goddard school. I would write this 10 stars if I could.

My son enrolled in February, and since he transitioned to the 18-24 month classroom in April, he has been biten by another student 7 times! This is completely unacceptable. The director and staff have knowledge of the biter but nothing has been implemented to address the biter from biting multiple students in this classroom. These reoccurring biting incidents are due to lack of supervision and neglect from the staff. They also have anthills in the playground area and my son has been biten several times with terrible reactions.

If I could I honestly give 0 stars I would. This has been the worst experience that my family has ever had to endure when it comes to childcare. We have had multiple instances where a 4 year old child has been biting my child. The first time it happened the teacher failed to report, she stated she saw it happened and just forgot to file the report.Prior to that situation, my son came home and stated that this particular teacher told this same child to kick my son, he asked “mommy why would she tell him to do that.” How do you explain something like that to a 4 year old. This same kid bit my son within the same week of the first incident. The school asked for an opportunity to make it right the first time, and had the kid removed from the school for 2 weeks. Fast forward 3-4 months later my son comes home and tells me this same little boy bit him again. He tells me he informed the teacher however, the teacher didn’t say anything nor respond. She proceeds to then ask another child if they observed my son being bit, the child said no and that was it. My partner and I call up to the school and spoke with the teacher who stated “oh yes he did tell us that happened” but basically the teacher didn’t see anything and did not report the incident. The owner told us via phone that his teachers took an oath therefore, they would not do anything such as “tell another kid to kick my child” nor would not report any incidents as if the teacher didn’t fail to report the initial incident. The owner stated that because it’s basically my child’s word against the child with the hx of biting that they are unable to do anything about it and basically questioned why our child is only attending school part time when my partner and I both work from home. His solution was to put our child in their school full time, so basically he can get bit more frequently and my child can fear attending school because he doesn’t understand why a 4-5 child is biting him and nothing is being done about it. The owner is stating that my child is the only one that’s being bitten by this child however, one of the kids teacher blatantly told us that child has prior behavior hx and has bitten other kids prior to my son starting at this school. It appears to that their are some biases that are present as the owner has stated multiple times that they have known this child since he was an infant. I really wish when people state “oh I heard The Goddard was a great school” I really wish that I could say that I agree however, that has not been our experience.

Horrible experience, my son has come home multiple times reporting a 4-5 year boy is at school biting him. The school has not done anything to keep my child because apparently if they didn't see it, it didn't happen. My son attends their school part time as my partner and I work from home and home school him the 3 days he does not attend and their only solution was to pay for him to go to school full time.

This is the best school! My daughter is always so happy to go to school every day and is even happier when I pick her up. She has grown and learned so much in the 5 months we have been attending. Ms. Heather is so wonderful! She really loves and cares for my daughter and all of the children in her class. All of the staff is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. There are a lot of bad daycares in this area and I am fortunate we found such a great school! Thank you for all your hard work!

I am very pleased with the care my 3 year old receives here. He is very loved by his teacher & the directors. The owner, Umer, is very sweet to my son. The Tadpole app is my favorite preschool ap. The school has gone through some changes but I attribute them mostly to covid & job demands. I appreciate how Goddard grew threw these challenges though as we’ve been at other facilities with management & teacher changes that didn’t go smoothly & definitely affected the kiddos. Ms. Nicole & Ms. Kamryn hold the children as highest priority which you can see in every classroom! Teachers are kind, professional, & affectionate with the kids. Classrooms are super clean too. I absolutely love the amount of outside & creative play my son gets. We haven’t had a single worksheet since coming here! It’s one of the best facilities in Forney

Updated Review (children no longer attend as of 6/17/2022)It's crazy that so much has changed in under a year. You will see my original review below. I have decreased the star rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.Reasons for the stars: 1 star for it being new and decently clean. Most items are still in great condition. 1 star because my 4 yr old loved attending and we didn't have any issues with him/ his teacher outside of a lost part of his lunch container.* I should add that my toddler did love his teacher Ms Cassandra. She was really kind to us!Reasons to NOT SEND YOUR NON SPEAKING CHILDREN:My toddler loved the school until all the changes a couple months in. I understand that this industry has alot of turn over however, the turnover was not managed well by the owner.1. My child suffered from unexplainable bruising on the back and an injury to his ankle.2. My child suffered from fire ant bites, not once, but TWICE. One of which was so severe we ended up in the ER. (I tried my best to be understanding of this because it "could" happen at home)3. My child suffered with a horrible infection in his eye- when I left him for the day, he was fine. By the time I picked him up his eye was swollen, leaking fluids, red, and he was in pain. Again we ended up in the ER.4. My child suffered several injuries like scratches and bites from one of his school mates. An EMP actually told me that it was cause a specific child. Supposably the owner could have denied this child from the facility but chose not to. My child was not the only one affected.5. Inaccurate updates on app due to consistent lack of staff. They owner will now say they are "overstaffed". Either way, this is a selling point for parents so be sure your room is "overstaffed" before enrolling.Overall, I wish we had a better experience. I would not send my child if they are not speaking. There were several occurrences that no one could provide explanation to. I kept my children there for about 3 weeks past the bruising because they did not fear their care takers. We are at a new facility now so I am comfortable posting this updated review. I do not believe the issues are the care takers ultimate responsibility. The owner/ management should be the ones to communicate with parents regarding injuries/ incidents. Good luck!Original review from August 2021:We have been a part of this campus for about 1 month and could not be happier. My son is in 13 months and I can tell he is happy there. His teacher Ms. Alyssa is GREAT with updating parents with notes, meal details, pictures, and curriculum info. These 4 qualities were missing at my previous daycare where tuition was only $35 less per month. 5-Star worthy and every penny worth! The directors are also great and so friendly! I feel welcome when I arrive which I didn't at my previous daycare. The only thing I would change is the option to pay on a mobile app. That is such a minor inconvenience for everything else though! - Megan Russell

I am going to miss the children but not the unprofessional end they can tell you want they want, Don't mean it is what they say. It's all about money and favoritism not the babies. Great teachers hands down they're awesome!
