I feel the citizens of Forney Texas should know exactly what goes on at this Post Office. As an employee, we worked in horrible work conditions. Absolutely no room to move around, filthy, restroom conditions, and horrible management. Henry who is the postmaster, sits in his office and watch YouTube all day while his supervisors are allowed to belittle employees engage in racial misconduct, while creating hostile work environment for African-American employees, overworking employees due to them not being able to keep anyone employed. The supervisors all get into it with each other and talk to other employees about each, lots of favoritism. This is the worst job I’ve ever had and I hate coming to this place every morning. *****To the citizens of Forney TEXAS if only you guys knew how miss treated, underpaid and overworked we are as employees at USPS FORNEY!!!****To the supervisorsNikkiTyJACQUEyou are all part of the problemTo Henry the post master- you don’t deserve your job!!!!

The customer service from Larry is top notch! However, the parking lot is 95% occupied by the carriers mail trucks. It's like winning the lottery if you happen to find an open parking spot.

Customer Service is a secondary concern. I get they are undergoing construction on their employee parking lot but to use the customer lot for loading their work trucks, to the point that there are literally no available slots for customers, is unacceptable. This has been going on for a year. Yes, planning a process to load work trucks without using g the customer lot would take time and effort… and?

I moved to Forney in the summer of 2023. I’ve noticed that I experience the same issues with this location as in Desoto, Texas, Mesquite, Tx, and Dallas, Tx.The postal workers are stealing coupons and selling them back to the general public. There’s a young lady who sells coupons by the boxes via social media…I’ve always wondered how she got ahold of such a large amount. Well.. apparently the workers are in on the scam too. They are taking the coupon books out before delivering mail and selling them to these middle men in bulk. the middle men go back and sell the coupons to the general public. They’re stealing what’s free and selling it back to them same people it was designed to be free for. This is sad and I thought the experience would be different in Forney:

We put in request for our mail to be on hold. Went by today after maybe 2 weeks and post office is stating they dont have any mail for us. No mail in 2 weeks or so? right. I have 3 packages stating delivered.

Have only been living in Forney a little over a month, and cannot count the times that the carrier has left the wrong mail in our box. We even had a package delivered to the neighbor's house instead of ours.Impossible to get someone on the phone, and after reading these reviews we understand that the problem is never going to stop anyway. If you move here, don't have important mail items sent to your home via USPS.You probably won't get it. Odds are against you.

They do not deliver mail/packages but rather notify packages can’t be delivered without even trying.

This is a terrible Post Office. My neighbors and myself have had their Christmas cards opened for a few years. They have reported property taken. Also, the parking lot is an absolute wreck and has been under construction for over a year. I’ve been going elsewhere for over 3 years.

Came in on a Monday, during late December, an hour before they close. First of all, don’t do what I did. You want to get here early because the parking situation is not so great. There’s maybe 10 spots, and they’re all going to be filled up when you arrive. You have no choice but to sit in the center aisle and wait for someone to come out so you can park. After circling the street a couple of times I did finally manage to get a parking space. That was the only bad part of the experience. I got inside and I see 3 postal workers behind the counters working fast. The line was long enough that when I entered the front door, I was at the end of the line. But only 7 minutes later, I was saying hello to a friendly and polite post woman behind the counter who scanned my packages and I was on my way. She even thanked* me for visiting. I know it’s just basic customer service, but it was really nice, she had a genuine smile too not one of those fake smiles, and I liked that a lot. Enough that it reminded me to leave a nice review.Even the customers inside were so very kind and considerate, some complete strangers making friendly small talk, and others enjoying the view from the windows as we all patiently waited together in line. Even in the parking lot, it was like a system of kindness had already formed of friendly nods and waves, and those who were waiting longer got to park next in order of fairness. I know it sounds silly but even in the parking lot chaos everyone kept their cool and nobody got mad or frustrated with each other. The most noise that happened was me when I was fumbling with my keys in the parking lot and accidentally hit the alarm button. (Oops)Coming from someone who used to live in Dallas County, this post office deserves each of these 5 stars. Forney USPS, you are doing great, and make me proud to have moved here.

This is the most efficient post office I have ever been to from west coast to east coast. It’s on the smaller side, but what it lacks in size it makes up in efficiency. It’s quick, it’s clean and it makes you feel valued (not just a number there). I have been here several times and I am shocked how great the service is every single time.

The balding Hispanics make in the office is a condescending p***** I went in this morning to retrieve a package I dropped off the night before. I told him I needed it back and he responded, that’s it’s long gone and it’s been sent out already! I replied, I dropped it off after office hours it should still be here and he said the same thing. He finally asked what the bag looked like, I explained the bag and he responded that’s isn’t going to help. I offered to show a picture of the bag and he still had an attitude. He proceeded behind the counter and found the bag and threw it on the counter. This isn’t the first rude exchange I’ve had with him.

Today, I went to the Forney Post Office to mail a few business envelopes. The line was long and there was only one person, Larry, at the counter. He was very friendly and efficient. With so many, who are having to work in overwhelming jobs, resorting to unfriendly and impatient behavior, this was not the case with Larry.Larry, thank you for your kindness. May you be blessed.
