“The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, as are the grounds and the views. WOW! The views!! So easy to access trails from the lodge. Beautiful seating areas are all over the property. And it's very quiet! Only issue we had was the lack of hot water and no wi-fi. I'm fine with no wifi but if it's a known thing just let guests know on the website under amenities. It wasn't down, there just isn't any. Tell people. If you enjoy coffee bring your own. There is a communal living area that is lovely for guests. We sat on the porch every sunrise. Restaurant choices in nearby Fort Davis are good since the Lodge has limited service. This lodge is lovely! We felt very lucky to have stayed here.”
“Cozy spot for all things Fort Davis. The hospitality was top notch. It was my 50th and they ran to town to fully equip our room with amenities- birthday brownies, coffee maker, and a microwave magically showed up just for me. Cheers!”

“It's a great place. A bummer the elevator having a hard time getting it fixed. The hardware for tub and shower sure does need to be changed out. And the carpet should be sanitized from time to time and keep the stains cleaned off. Otherwise everything else is great. Enjoyed the balcony. ❣️”
“I have stayed twice at Stone Village Tourist Camp and on both visits found it to be charming and to suit our needs perfectly. The rooms are clean, beds and pillows comfortable and so nice and quiet! The grounds are so pretty with hummingbirds flying about and it's very convenient to just walk right next door for any incidentals you might require. The microwave and coffee maker in our room were nice and worked perfectly for us. The cleaning staff kept us well supplied with towels and Randall in the office was helpful and accommodating. This is the ONLY place we will stay on our visits to Fort Davis.”
