The absolute worst bank I have ever done business with. As an active duty Service Member I strongly suggest using Navy Fed instead. FHNB is not user or service member friendly. They take a huge chunk of money if you try to make a transfer, the transfer limit to another bank account is $1000, and you get charged $25 for that transfer. Zero customer service etiquette both from the personnel at the 254 numbers and the toll free numbers. The man I spoke with on the phone that worked at the bank was severely inconvenienced by my questions and couldn't even answer my questions and all I wanted to do was transfer MY money from my FHNB account to my Navy Fed account and they couldn't even help me and told me to go in person to a bank and there isn't even one on Oahu where we PCSed to. If you are new to Ft Cavasos or stationed in Texas and think about opening an account here to get that "free" $100....run, run far away from this bank and take your business and money else where

Horrible bank. They called me to call them at a specific number. I called the number 20+ times and they hung up on me instantly each time. This bank is a huge scam. The employees all need to be fired. They are all very rude in person too. They get you with a promise of free 100$ but now because of this awful bank. I cannot access the 450$ in my account.Also they can't be added as a bank for cashapp. Venmo. PayPal. Etc. So if you use money transfer a lot. DO NOT USE THIS BANK

If I can give this bank a 0 stars I would.Worst bank that I’ve had. They give me an NSF CHARGE 3 times in a roll and I haven’t charged anything in this account. They said someone is taking money out. Like if they see it, wouldn’t this be suspicious and contact me to see if I’m trying to charge my debit. Stupid

Sad but in my opinion Fort Hood has now joined the ranks of the Wokeness. Changing its name to First Heroes National Bank is a slap to every Soldier that ever served at Fort Hood. Your wokeness makes me sick. The bank president should resigned.

Worst bank I've ever had. Horrible customer service if you have a problem expect to be on the phone for up to 30 minutes or longer waiting!!!!!! And I was charged an unauthorized overdraft fee for not even being negative!!!!! Your better off staying away from this bank they are nothing but trouble.

My husband got locked out of his account after having issues with it for 3 days. They shut off his debit card . The customer service is pretty awful and didn't really give him any options . So guess what? His account is still closed , and once we get the money out of the account we are closing it . Don't get a bank account with them if you want to actually be a priority.

Dishonest company/bank that wasted HOURS of our time. Branch manager says one thing, and the main company says something entirely different. Don't waste your time as well. We have to trust our banks and these guys can not be trusted

Final straw. They rolled out their new digital app. My device is not compatible with their new app and the old one won't allow me access to my account. I got told by the CSR to "buy a new phone." This comes less than 2 months after they canceled my card for "suspicious transactions" without telling me, even though those transactions were actually me. It took me three weeks to get my new card. Commanders and first-line leaders, tell your soldiers not to use this bank.

I been with this bank since 2007, i tried to get 10k auto loan and they said no, so went to dealership and got approved for a 40k new truck. I tried to get a personal loan for 600 and they said no, but was able to get 1000 loan with another bank. This bank sucks, no help from them at all with anything. And im moving on...
