Never will we stay here again. The guy in the front was super nice, but that was not the issue. The issue were the two big American cockroaches I saw. One was on the sink when we got in and I killed that one. The other was on the wall hiding under the hand towel when I went to the bathroom at 3:45am. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.
The pillows were super soft, the blankets were warm, but the bed was a little uncomfortable. I could stay here again for one night, if there were no roaches. After the two I saw, I don't the think they are moving any time soon.

Was hoping we’d be happy staying for 10 hours. No ice (machine broken), no breakfast, towels were old. Water pressure was good in the shower. Would I go back? Probably not. Other places in Van Horn looked better and probably had ice. It was very hot.

I have stayed here before and found it met my needs at a very good price. I arrived on the Friday before the solar eclipse. They were struggling to handle the great increase in guests and clearly under a lot of pressure to prepare rooms. I checked in and was given a room. While I was unloading one gentleman who worked there noticed I was having issues with my balance. He took the time to suggested I take their room set up for people with mobility issues. I did and it was a great help. He and his wife checked later to see if all was well. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and the Wifi worked well. I periodically stop in Fort Stockton and the Deluxe Inn will be my choice of lodging.

My room was clean with a updated bathroom. Bed was fairly firm for a hotel. Unlike many older places with limited outlets, my room had a power strip. Off a busy road so get a room in the back. Next time I stop over in Fort Stockton, I'll stay here.

Really nice, clean motel that is really well taken care of. Very Friendly and helpful owners who want their guests to have a great stay. A great find. Will return next time I stop in Ft. Stockton.

I thought the stay was very good.
We will definitely return there next time we go. Recommended!
Rooms: Very good for resting, quiet, cozy, good lighting, TV, 2 chairs and a desk, with a small coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, a small hanger for clothes, and a hair dryer in the bathroom.
Safety: I felt really safe, very lit outside, no strange activities or anything.

Great value for price. As said, it's older but clean and quiet. I'd stay here again. It's better than many franchise budget hotels that cost more.

Price is right, rooms are roomy, clean. Bed is comfortable. It's got a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. One level, parking right in front of your room. Not fancy, but taken care of. It's quiet, too.

Very, very dirty everything. Pillows with hair and blood stains. Cigarette burnt blankets. Everything is very unpleasant. Poorly managed administration.
