“We had a lovely stay here. Front desk check in was easy and smooth. Unexpectedly, they had a free dinner until 8 which was such a nice surprise after driving all day. A few options like dominoes and a local BBQ spot and some others a 3-4 minute drive and right off the highway. We were traveling with our two dogs and appreciated the clean dog park, clean pet friendly rooms, and the stay overall. The hot tub needed a repair and rather than wait until check in they called us early to make sure we didn’t want to book somewhere else. Great communication, pleasant and professional staff and clean rooms. Anyone traveling through west Texas with pets should stay here.”
“I have stayed here before and found it met my needs at a very good price. I arrived on the Friday before the solar eclipse. They were struggling to handle the great increase in guests and clearly under a lot of pressure to prepare rooms. I checked in and was given a room. While I was unloading one gentleman who worked there noticed I was having issues with my balance. He took the time to suggested I take their room set up for people with mobility issues. I did and it was a great help. He and his wife checked later to see if all was well. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and the Wifi worked well. I periodically stop in Fort Stockton and the Deluxe Inn will be my choice of lodging.”

“Clean, spacious rooms. Nice hot breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Noon checkout is convenient. Our tub did have a chunk taken out of it, though, which was not great. Otherwise, terrific experience! Very glad we found this place. (:”
“The room at this very simple, no frills motel was very clean. No bugs, no stains, everything worked just fine.
The sheets were very soft, new mattress, no carpet! So you could tell the floor was clean.
Microwave and fridge, good sized TV.
I stayed in room 102.
Toilet bowl looked new, bath was spotless.
The owners were friendly, kind hearted good people and recommended a place to eat.
Total gem for the price! You never know with these mom and pop type places but this mom and pop are doing a fine job.”
“A decent stay and animal friendly facility. Not too far from amenities and places to eat. Nearby freeway and easy parking for our tall Sprinter.
Lots of extra cabinet space above the counter for the cat to get into and break the plates and glasses. The cat was everywhere but very happy.
The only ice maker on property was slow . . . very slow . . . very, very slow. The picture shows amount of ice after 5 minutes. By the time I got back to the room, much of it was already melted.

“Room was clean, staff wasv friendly and helpful. I had trouble with the lock on my door and they immediately switched me to a different room. I would stay again.”
“Stayed at this hotel on the nights of 2/10/25 and 2/14/25 while traveling to and from Fort Polk in Louisiana. Hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff was very nice and accommodating on both nights. Breakfast was also decent an the breakfast attendant kept everything hot, fully stocked and clean despite how chaotic it gets during breakfast. We are planning another trip later in the year to Fort Hood, Tx. This is the location we will be staying at during our return trip through Texas so I highly recommend this hotel.
Rooms: Very clean! Comfortable.
Safety: We are from Arizona, Texas is like Arizona everyone has and carries guns so we felt safe.”
