I used a third party that then hired these guys. So I was unlucky that I did not have the chance to review them first. I truly wish I had.
Look at the reviews how a company like this is still in business I don't know. But they will scam you.
They hire guys to do the job for the day so you can't track anyone down.
Then the process will go along these lines
After everything is packed and in the truck. They will tell you the quote was wrong and you owe more money. So you don't have a choice.
Then when you get your items back things will be missing, they will steal from you and pretend that has never happened.
They stole over 5k worth of goods from me, they sent me an insurance claim and I have never heard back since.
Whatever you do even if they turn you through a third party or others cost you more. Stay away from these guys.....as far away as you can.
You have been warned, oh and trust me they don't care about these reviews it means nothing they keep getting business. So do your own checks and turn them away if they turn up.

Horrible company was quoted 3k and they charged over 5K. Sent only one person to unload our apartment, and we had to help get our furniture upstairs, so it was basically doing it ourselves except for driving. I emailed the company to file a complaint against an employee who has stolen money from me and does not respond. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they will break and lose your stuff and they do not care, and do not answer emails.

Never received a response from my email listing my complaints over a year ago. Stay FAR away from this company

My aunt recently just moved from Maryland back to st. Louis and after the movers moved her back into her house the movers brought her couch back over to my mom's house and I think it was great service because they really didn't have to do that and they were very respectful and they hooked the couch together, respectful men and overall good quality of the moving. Thanks A&M Moving Services.

****ALERT!!! **** They quote a low quote to get you to bite, show up, say the stuff wont fit and they adjust the quote while sitting in your driveway. My driveway quote was double the original. (Didn't add double the stuff. I added a few things and also took away a few things.) The drivers even said the quote was a horrible quote and they didnt know why they would have quoted that.
I decided to lose my deposit and do it myself. STAY AWAY!!! Thank me later!
They also use the name Southern Elite Van Lines!

Darrell was very nice , great service from him and the crew they moved and wrapped everything with no problem it was a smooth transaction and we appreciate it ! We had Tv’s , Fridge , Washer & Dryer , bed frame !

I paid an initial fee, but then I canceled the service before the 3 business days. They confirmed my cancelation and refund a month ago. I'm still waiting for my money. They are not responding to my email, let alone my calls. Stay away from this "company", it's my hard-earned money, but they don't seem to care at all.

Like everyone else price changed. 4 people to load 2 people to unload there was a 900# safe they sent no dolly’s to unload it and only the truck driver and a helper to unload and put in place they borrowed my dolly to try and get it in my house it’s now just staying in the garage until I hire someone else to come move it to where I paid A&M to put it. They had to unload someone else’s things to the snow and mud covered driveway. They left trash in my driveway. They couldn’t put the tape in the trash can which is circled in red in the picture. They broke the door off the dresser. I wouldn’t recommend them to my enemy. Also they only take cash, Zelle, or cashiers check. I felt like my stuff was a hostage.

RUN FAR FROM THIS COMPANY. From the moment they arrived things didn’t add up. The workers are completely messy, they don’t pack they throw everything into boxes. Plenty of things ended up broken like a 85” TV that was practically just out of the box. All forms of communication was messy. We filed a claim for the broken things. The settlement was a complete joke. Don’t call these people, find a company that cares and will take care of your things. This was a HUGE MISTAKE, it’s honestly disgusting how much you spend for what should be an exceptional service. Not Worth it, did I mention RUN the other way!?

They gave me estimates about $2700 on November 2023. Mover show up on moving date which is about 6 weeks later 1/05/2024 and asked for $6500. I had to move out on that day so had no choice but bagged for little bit of discount and they offered me $5700I had no other options but hire them.I got delivered on 1/27/2024 my furnitures and stuffs.Unfortunately, lot of them are damaged.Bed frame was all broken, coffee table is badly broken, wine cooler was damaged, TV screen is broken and not working, mattresses were all wet and stained.Sound bar speakers and remote controls for TV is missing

I don’t think I’ve ever had a moving company this bad. Stay FAR FAR AWAY! I could go on and on, but I think the fact that my driver just cursed me out is a good summary of how they treat their customers. Horrible communication, didn’t finish the job they started, severely late and slow.Update: half of my furniture is missing!! The dresser, bed frame, side tables, etc. And now they have ghosted me and claim “they’re looking”.Karma will handle the unethical business practices they are following, and they truly lack integrity and ethics.The driver was supposed to arrive at 9am but shut his phone off and wouldn’t answer them until that afternoon, saying he’d arrive between 2-3pm, but didn’t show until 4pm.The list goes on. Horrible from day one. Truly a shame and I hope no one else uses this company and gets taken advantage of.

Please do not make the same mistake I did by choosing to move with this company, you will regret it! All of the great reviews are written by their employees, I as many others have had an extremely disappointing experience with A&M Moving. The two movers arrived a day late at 6 pm and worked until 2 am. Despite carrying off a significant portion of my belongings while waiting, they relentlessly tried to upsell, doubling the price by switching from hourly to square footage. Communication was nonexistent as issues arose, and they damaged numerous items, including a Havertys marble-topped table and my shoe rack. Fragile items were mishandled, and despite their assurance of an insurance policy, they refuse to share it. They promised reimbursement via Venmo in 2-3 days; however, nearly two weeks later, I'm still waiting. Avoid this company at all costs.
