I brought my dog in for a nail trim, my appointment was double booked and they told me to drop him off. 10 minutes after dropping him off I was told his services were completed and that they could not trim his nails without a sedative due to a heart murmer. After getting told of all the things that could possibly be wrong with an almost 9 year old dog, I got guilt closed out of fear to run extra tests on my dog (which came back negative of course). What started as a quick attempt to get his nails trimmed and an updated rabies shot turned into an all day $230 fiasco that left my dog a shell of himself for the next day and a half due to sedating him with unnecessary drugs that he has never required before for such a simple errand. Banfield is not nearly as interested in helping pets as it is about extorting their owners financially.

Took our furr baby here because he woke up without the ability to walk. Upon dropping him off we requested that they express his bladder since he had already gone more than 12 hours without using the restroom. Come to find out, they did not express his bladder, But told us we needed to wait for the pay medication to kick in. I asked how many Days to wait, And they stated two days (which would be 3 days that he will go without using the restroom). Upon doing research, and Getting a second opinion from another experience vet, Going longer than 12 hours without using the restroom is an emergency.... And the bladder should be expressed immediately. They merely forgot, And tried backing up their mistake with false information.**The experience was great, However, they failed in doing what we asked and Gave us incorrect information that could harm our furr baby more than what he already is.**

We’ve been bringing our dog here for a couple of years and have received good care. We recently adopted a puppy who we brought in after she started limping after playing. I was concerned it could be a luxating patella as our other dog who had them presented similarly. When our puppy was taken back to see the vet, a staff member who was not our vet tech could be heard saying “well it’s contagious” in a mocking tone. I am very aware that a luxating patella is not contagious and just because my one dog had them doesn’t mean this new puppy will. However, it is a costly procedure and if this new puppy may require surgery in the future, I’d like to be able to prepare. They are also similar breeds so concerns for luxating patella was not off base. Joking or not, it was very rude and condescending of the staff member to make that comment (who wasn’t even initially helping care for our puppy) and ruined our experience and desire to return to banfield. The walls are not sound proof and you should be treating your customers with a bit more respect when you do not know the entire story.

Dr Schmid was great with my skittish cat. My cat felt very comfortable with her and she was extra sweet to the vet. My other cat saw a different vet there, but I think I’d rather both of my cats stick with Dr Schmid. My other cat had a very different experience with a different vet than my skittish cat did. I’ll take my cats to this clinic from now on.

This review is long overdue as we have called Banfield Trinity Commons our vet “home” for a few years now and we truly wouldn’t have it any other way! All of our pets – George, Ralph and Kitty – have optimum wellness plans with Banfield and while this location isn’t exactly the most convenient drive for us, we ONLY take them to Trinity Commons for so many positive reasons. First off, it’s a standalone Banfield (not inside a PetSmart) which is a huge perk alone. Moreover, the vets, techs and down to the sweet ladies who work the front desk (I can’t rave enough about Daisy and Miranda – they are amazing and always go above and beyond!) have and continue to take the very best care of our fur babies. The entire staff genuinely makes an effort to get to know each one of them on a personal level, as well as the pawrents! Not to mention, they are organized, efficient and thorough – we constantly get reminders for comprehensive exams, dental cleanings, prescription refills, you name it. And when they say you’ll get a call back, you really do get one!Just this past year, we’ve had to take our older pup and cat in for several major/emergency surgeries and can truly attest to the exceptional care and transparency provided by the vets at this hospital (Dr. Moores, Dr. Rossi, Dr. Kelly, Dr. Jarrett), including the wonderful team of people making sure all your questions are answered and you’re constantly being updated during the process. Needless to say, we’re very grateful to be part of the Banfield family at Trinity Commons! George, Ralph and Kitty (+ Mom & Dad) appreciate all that you do!

Please do not use the optimum wellness plan!!!!I had been with banfield for over 20 yrs.During covid the customer service was horrific!! Extended grace.. no callbacks, no follow ups, inconsistent lesderdhip.Everyone just passed the buck. I left and returned to another center. Had to advocate to get to dpk with a doctor after being told my dog was diabetic. The Alsbury vet were much more efficient and caring howeverI recently had to put my grizz down. I called optimum to ask what was needed to verify dogs death. I was told flat out, nothing is needed because you will continue to be billed! I was floored. I signed up over the phone and I'm sure somewhere in the 30 min of telling my why I need this they said something in the part that they read real fast about payment.I can assure you they did not day" if your pet dies you will still need to pay. "I didn't think my dog was sick but I knew he was an older dog. If this was said. Now I will be reminded fir 6 months of how I had to hold my fog while he was put to sleep.Get insurance, a private vetDO NOT DO BANFIELD Wellness Plan!!!!!

Wish I would have read the reviews before being convinced to buy a plan that wasn’t even worth the money.Wouldn’t it make sense for you guys to call when my dog is due for his vaccines? Or send an email? Am I supposed to just guess when he’s due? You guys know, why not make the call to get him booked or send a reminder. Then I came in for my dogs rash, (not knowing he was due for vaccines a few days prior), and you guys said nothing about it. You guys wanna sit down and talk about my wellness plan instead instead of the actual things that my dog needs to get done. Unprofessional environment, waste of my money and time. Won’t be renewing my plan and will take my business and money elsewhere, as I suggest everyone else does

Take my lil kitty here cause I know she’s loved and cared for by good people! Great techs and vets here that really treat your animal like their own. The doctor explained everything in a way that is informational yet easy to understand for the owner. While doing the first examination on my cat, they handled her gently but properly and with as least stress as possible to her. We were in and out with a full understanding of her condition, how to proceed and our best options to go forward. If you’re living paycheck-to-paycheck like many of us, they offer an affordable payment plan that covers future visits, vaccines, etc. (not including certain medications.) My kitty leaves just as happy as she went in and so do I. I appreciate everyone involved for the care of our local lil babies (: Highly recommend for anyone who needs a trustworthy place to go!!
