Had a great interaction… a 5 Star A+ experience chatting with Sarah Z, Branch Banker. Friendly & kind— Very personable. She was able to answer the questions I had. Easy to schedule an online appointment. Thank you.

BBVA (Compass Bank)2016 W Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76104I have been member of BBVA (Compass Bank) since this bank started. Prior to that I was a member of Texas Bank in which Compass bank took over and later became BBVA. Recently I had noticed a transaction on my bank account in which did not come from me. I reached out to the branch listed here. I spoke to the branch manager Sarah on or around September 20, 2021. She suggested deactivating my current card and having another one re-issued and disputing the charge that was put on my account. I was told a new card could take up to 7-10 business days but was told by the branch manager most people have been getting them in 3-4 days. I was also previously told to expedite getting the card quicker would cost $50.00 and would still take about three to four days. Here it is October 7, 2021. Seventeen days later and 13 business days taking the weekends out and I still do not have a card and unable to make any transactions. I have contacted the branch manager and customer service trying to find out where my card is and what could be done only to get no answers. I was told a couple of days ago by the branch manager there was nothing she could do and at this point is out of her hands. This is a very poor banking experience and customer service. This bank will very soon be switching over to PNC bank and I hope they have a better game plan and get rid of some of the rift raft, unknowledgeable and unhelpful employees with the current company.I am currently looking into other institutions and seriously considering moving my business elsewhere. This same situation happened to my son not long ago. His bank reached out to him about a charge someone was trying to put on his account. My son explained it was not him. His bank immediately deactivated his card and told him to stop by his branch and pick up a new one. He had a new card the same day.At this point I would not recommend BBVA (Compass Bank) to anyone!!!

They don't offer free checking without a minimum balance. What is this, 1995?

I love this bank. They make me feel like it's a small town bank and they know me by name. They always are very attentive to my needs and help me in anyway possible.

I absolutely hate this bank. They are slow af and must use their fingers and toes to complete the transactions. If I didn't have to deposit my rent here I would never even know they existed. I spend no less then 20 minutes in line every F-ing time I come here. Do better.

Horribly corrupt bank, please do not do business here. This bank will absolutely steal your money. BBVA will take your money then try and make you feel bad for losing your money to them. This bank does not process your transaction in the order they were made, yet they process the larger amounts first then the smaller amounts causing more NSF fees than you deserve. The banking industry as a whole have been doing this for years and some believe it or not have been sued for fraudulent practices. Take my word on this, you will regret doing business with this bank, do your own research I promise it won't take long to see exactly what I'm talking about.

Been an account holder for 25 years and go in to have a simple document notarized and get turned away. Complete BS. BBVA has proven time and again to be the worst bank ever. Closing my account.

Recently went into this branch to open an account in the name of my mother's estate. Spoke to Cherie. Very helpful and polite. However, she must not know the BBVA policies very well. After sitting for about 2 hours just to open the account, (computer problems apparently), my brother and I left thinking all was in order. Since my brother and I live about 100 miles apart, we specifically asked Cherie if we needed to be together at a BBVA branch to transact a withdrawal from this new account. Cherie told us no and that he could be at one branch and I would be at another. A BBVA employee could call the other branch while we were both present so that my brother could authorize the withdrawal to me. Not so grasshopper! This morning my brother and I were at two different branches as Cherie directed. After the BBVA staff spoke to each other, we were told that what Cherie instructed was not allowable or possible. Very disappointing! Left a bad taste with me. A definite fumble at the goal line by BBVA. Not impressed.
