I went to camp at the stables growing up and loved it! I made great memories that summer. Now as an adult I’ve been back for trail rides and have had the same fun! Everyone there is amazing.

I take lessons here and everyone is so sweet! The horses are treated very well and the teachers are knowledgeable and want you to succeed! The prices are super reasonable. Junior was very helpful at my first lesson and in setting up future lessons! He’s a great instructor! Also, if you’re scared to start, the horses are all super gentle and true sweeties.

Loved our trail ride. Sammie, our guide was excellent. She answered all our novice questions with grace and it's obvious she loves her job and loves horses. The trail was beautiful and peaceful. Just what we needed! Thanks Benbrook Stables. We will be back!

We came for a trail ride for my daughters birthday. The kids had a ball. They don’t force nose to rear walking only. They’re still not going to do an all out run or even a cantor but they will at least trot which doesn’t happen on most trail rides. My daughter was thrilled with that. The guides were wonderful as well , answering questions, giving pointers to the three young ones (as well as adults). We had 3, Junior, Bart and Payton. Thank you! There is also a cute shop where you initially check in. You can use credit card for the shop. The trail rides are cash only. We were prepared so it wasn’t an issue. There’s easy parking as well. Just look for the signs, pass the home on the left and behind it on the left you’ll see the parking.

This was really a 4.5 out of 5, but better than a 4. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly. Our guide, Junior, was very friendly and helpful — we enjoyed referring to him as “Rip”. The downside of the trail ride was that outside of one deviation (a fun ride down a creek bed) it was the same route out and back. I would have preferred a circular path with no repeating routes.

I applied for a job here and looked forward to my interview for a week. before i even finished filling out my paperwork the owner confronted me without even introducing her self to tell me that they won’t hire me due to my nose piercing. i proceeded to tell her i’d take it out for the job, due to it being my dream job, and she told me i would lose MANY jobs bc of my personal choices. then she told me they won’t hire anyone with any type of piercings or tattoos which wasn’t in the application. overall i was super disappointed. she acted just as the reviews on here said she acted.

We used this ranch for my sons bday. We used the cantina and all of our guests loved it! The kids had a blast! With did their package #1 which included:-cantina space with 35 person capacity for 2 hrs-pony during the entirety of event-2 horses for anyone over the age of 2 to ride for the first hr-hay ride for about 20 guestsWe added a bounce house to the package and brought our own food and drinks. Chelsea and everyone from office to horse trainers and staff were very sweet. Made everything easy. My son talks about his “cowboy bday” constantly. Thank you Benbrook Stables.

This was my very first horse ride. Robert was not only super sweet, but he showed concern for my safety on Crockett. I felt unsafe and he showed me how to ride and have a wonderful time! Thank you Robert for doing your job and taking care of the whole horse ride crew!

Read through the business’ replies to all of the 1-3 star reviews here - somehow, shockingly, almost every negative experience was either a tall tale or the customer’s fault! Imagine the odds. How someone runs their business is none of my business, but I will say that, in general, a willingness to listen to customer feedback and respond coolly is highly valued almost universally. The review I posted here was strictly factual and neutral. I was more than ready to return and try again another time, but the owner’s flippant and somewhat accusatory reply solidifies the feeling that they don’t seem to want my business, which is just fine.——————————We took our daughter and a friend riding on Sunday for a birthday weekend outing. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our appointment only to be told that "we were late" and the trail ride had already left. It seems there was some misunderstanding about how early we were expected to arrive, but either way, several additional minutes were spent being sniped at for being "late" (all still before the time our ride was even scheduled to start, but I digress). We did eventually get out on the trail, and the scenery was lovely. Two of our four horses were completely resistant to basic commands, and one ran directly into oncoming traffic while we were crossing a road. Luckily none of us are beginner riders, not that anyone asked. We had two trail guides - the guy who rode back with us on the second half was friendly, had a great attitude, and made that part of the ride pleasant. Unfortunately didn't catch his name but he was great. The one who started us out almost seemed put out that he had to ride with us, and was very short with the entire group. Same with the workers back at the stable, both when we were heading out and when we returned. I'm sure everyone has a bad day every now and then, but the attitudes kind of soured the experience for us. On multiple occasions one of us asked a basic question (such as "what is my horse's name") and were straight up ignored. At any rate, my daughter did enjoy her ride and that's what matters most; really wish the experience had been as fun for everyone else, though.
