I cannot express the joy from my experience here. Without going into too many details, Lauren helped make Christmas for my 9-year-old nephew by giving up the Toothless bear that she was going to purchase for herself. There is not a big enough reward to give this woman for her incredible kindness and generosity. I cannot thank her enough!!!

Use to be amazing but they have a different manager and new employees that are incredibly rude. We showed up early for a new drop and nothing was put out properly everything was in bags on the floor or in boxes on the floor. We carefully looking through them just like everyone else and some how they only told us to not do that and to ask for something even though all of the things should have been put up before then. We got what we wanted and were paying at the register we asked to keep tags on our stuff and they cut them off anyway and we were like oh we wanted them on and she was like “well I can just put them in the box they don’t really need to be on anyway” well she didn’t even put them in the box we had to go back and get them. We asked another employee to get them for us because we thought they got thrown away. She had a fit about getting them out of the trash. I would have happily gotten them if had the option considering that it was just paper in there nothing dirty. Had to ask another employee to get them thankfully they were nice unlike the other two lady’s. Left went home the next day realized I never got my gift cards. Had to go back up there and ask for them. Was told after we left the first time they were set aside for us even though when we went back for the tags they didn’t mention that they forgot to give us our already paid for gift cards. She then told us they were put in the safe and proceeded to look in the safe for them with no luck of finding them. In my opinion a little sketchy. They never found my original gift cards. And had to give me new ones. Also refused to give me a receipt for the new gift cards.
If the owner sees this i didn’t get their names because they weren’t wearing name tags (even though im pretty sure they are supposed too. wonder why) i would watch out for those two employees there’s definitely something off there and i think its a high possibility that they stole my gift cards considering that i called build a bear help line and they said that my og gift cards were spent.
Ps. I think the person that checked us out was the new manager poc lady
Also other employee was wht with green in hair.
Won’t be going back there because can no longer trust not to get stolen from

We took my daughter to get her 1st birthday bear. We were so excited for her! When we arrived to the Hulen shop, everyone was so depressing….
No one greeted us, no one asked if we needed help, my husband and I were just lost on what to do.
I found the birthday bear (on my own) and got in line to stuff the bear. The man was uninviting and very…bored. After stuffing the bear, we got the birthday outfit, and dressed it. (Still no one talked to us) and we walked to the cashier and she was the only one with life. She said happy birthday to my baby and was very pleasant. I thanked her for being so sweet.
This is suppose to be a happy place for kids, but instead they sucked the happiness out of everything.

Girl at the cashier didn't greet us, rude. She asked me to enter my email on the tablet, I said no, she said it was required. I for sure know it is not required. She has a horrible attitude.

We took my daughter for her birthday for the first time to build a bear for her birthday
As we where waiting we saw the young gentleman doing his think making voices playing with another birthday girl and make her experience so great we where happy and we were patient bc we wanted the same experience for my daughter
As he is wrapping up I’m getting my family ready to do the same thing but then the girl employee came in stomping her boot heels didn’t greet us took the bear from my hand and was like “is this all” I said no actually it’s my daughter birthday
And she was ohh happy birthday
And didn’t offer my daughter any of birthday offers the gentleman offered

I came to the location on Sunday 2/23 to make a build a bear with my boyfriend and Travis was very displeasing. I wanted to record making our bear (not Travis) so he handed us off to someone else. When he came time to check out he left the register and asked someone else to take care of us. To spend $80 on a bear and receive the customer service we received is unacceptable as a consumer. The lady I had before was so sweet and helpful and I was looking for that same experience and did not receive it.

I love build a bear for my grandkids. that’s why I bought them the advent calendars. unfortunately the calendars showed up today damaged. They’re still usable, but I wish that they were perfect. It wasn’t the shipping that caused the damage. They were damaged before they were put in the box to ship.

Didn’t even bother to do a heart ceremony for any of my 3 kids. This was my second time at this location and both times I went they didn’t do it.
So I asked the girl who made the bears and rang us out if that was no longer something they do and she said “it’s policy that we do it every time unless the kids are scared.”
I went with a 2, 3 and 9 year old and all of them were exited and helping make the bears. She knew she messed up in that sense. I was a bit annoyed because why else would I be having my phone out to record them and pay so much just to watch someone stuff their bear.
I definitely won’t be returning here for another “special” experience.
