I booked a regular room. Nothing on site about the room or booking details being a handicap room. Front desk said no other rooms available, but look, on their own website, rooms are available for the same night. Front desk lied. Go somewhere else. Poor service, room details lie to you. Better hotels right next door! With breakfast included!

Rooms are nice, clean and quiet. Very comfortable stay for me and my wife. The only bad thing - they don’t serve breakfast, but they have kitchen inside each room, so you can cook it for yourself.

Let me just start by say this. I've been to some really horrible hotels in the past, but coming here has given me hope that there are still some really good hotels to go to. From the time we reserved our rooms about a month ago, to the time we came it has been a breeze!!! We didn't have to give a credit card, we get to pay today when we check out. We had to get some papers printed and they were happy to oblige so we didn't have to go to staples. The amenities were amazing in the suite. Plenty spacious, CLEAN and relaxing!!! Hoping to bring my husband back here in the future for some relaxation!!!! Thank you Night, And Morning crew, you guys were so helpful 10/10 recommend

Central position to everything. Close to DFW Airport and highways to all directions. Easy access to anywhere great place.Rooms: The rooms are spacious for a couple, the staff has been nothing but helpful at times. Plus, there is a laundry room to wash your clothes. A little store to buy snacks, drinks, and detergent for your clothes.Nearby activities: The hotel has a small activity area with weights, treadmills, and steppers. All with capabilities to connect to your phone.Walkability: Good walking neighborhood and a great distance.Food & drinks: No problem finding something to eat. There is chicken, tacos, burgers, and pizzas. Even a couple of gas stations around for other items.

Great value. Rooms are clean, a little old but not bad at all. Close to several fast food places and some bar/restaurants. I would stay again.

I work for American Airlines and I have been staying here very often (sometimes for whole moths at a time) since 2017. The staff here are wonderful. They'll do anything for you including taking us places too far to walk: the grocery store; the post office; the bank and more. The hotel rooms are great and fully equipped. This is my home away from home. We have some newer employees of American who have been embellishing, at the least, to downright lying about their experiences here. They are entitled and want to stay someplace 'fancier" even is my guess. They are also bad-mouthing the staff who are wonderful, like family to those of us who have been staying here years and we are very hurt by these reviews and untruths these newere American Airlines employees have been expressing and spreading through social media. These comments are untrue. The Candlewood Suites DFW South is a great place to stay and the staff here are friendly and accommodating at all times and at all hours. They'll do anything for us and I love them. If you're reading this review, please know I am being honest and truthful. It's a wonderful place to stay. There are tons of restaurants nearby, laundry is free if you need to do clothes washing, and, again, the staff is just fabulous. They also offer complimentary van service via the Candlewood Suites and the next door Holiday Inn vans. Great place. My second home and I love the hotel and all of the staff.Thank you,Robert SmithFlight Attendant Trainer and Recruiter residing in the Chicago area based at O'Hare Field in Chicago. And 35 year employee of American Airlines.

Not sure why anyone would have anything bad to say. We had a 1 bedroom suite and the room has everything..the bed was comfy..lots of room..the staff was great. We went to the Metallica concert Sunday night and Saturday night we just stayed in our room and relaxed. I have stayed in Dallas plenty of times and I will be staying here from now on. There are restaurants a few feet away, liquor store and convenient store. Overall I would give 9.5 out of 10..if there had been a pool it would have been a 10.Rooms: Very spacious and clean.Walkability: Liquor store, restaurants and convenient store within walking distance

You don’t stay here for “vacation or pleasure”. It’s MOSTLY for business. It’s excellent, meet my needs When I’m here for work! 24 hours shuttle to and from the airport and with in 3 miles radius, reservation is needed. in house FREE laundromat, a cupboard full of kitchens appliances you can borrow. All room are suites with Queen size bed and a kitchenette. Friendly staff and drivers.

Stayed one night while in town. Check in was easy, room was clean. Only problem was the AC that kept kicking on and off throughout the night. I didn’t complain because I didn’t figure they could do anything about it in the middle of the night and I didn’t want to change rooms. Oh, and had to stand in several inches of water while taking a shower because it didn’t drain well.

Fine hotel. Not fancy or luxurious, but clean with a friendly staff. And body lotion in the bathrooms!

Relatively new hotel, unfortunately poorly built (covid era labor perhaps?). Gaps in bathroom grout that will harbour mould and cause leaks, lamp fixture that loosely sits and does not cover its electrical box, closet rack installed too low. Room phone was dead. Clock died in two days, but was able to get a replacement.I called few days before arrival and requested top floor, was given ground floor upon arrival, so customer service was so so…Mostly new residential and warehouse neighbourhood - no stores in walking distance except a liquor store. Hotel van will take you to a supermarket on request, but it may take some time to coordinate.A bunch of restaurants (mostly fast food, plus a Mexican and Vietnamese) in short walking distance.A found a commuter train station in about 10 minute walking distance, train can take you to downtown Dallas and Ft. Worth.

My experience at this Candlewood Suites was great. Myron was very courteous, professional, and handled my check in quickly so I could enjoy my stay. I would recommend this hotel over all others in the area.
