As a tourist visiting Texas for the first time, the Fort Worth Stockyards is place to stop at. You feel like being in an Old Western town. I wanted to buy a pair of cowboy boots and Cavender's was the first place I stopped at. Compared to places like Lucchese's, this place has boots that are on the affordable side. The first pair of boots that I tried on were the ones I ended up purchasing at the end of the day. I opted for suede instead of leather, since I was looking at them for more of a fashion statement. What I love about my boots is that it doesn't really look like cowboy boots and I could wear them with anything. Jimena was the employee who had kept them on reserve for me while I perused the other boot stores to see what else was out there before making a commitment. I am so happy with my purchase and I highly recommend coming here.

Old western shoot em out ambience! This is a building wall to wall wood walls and ceilings. They carry all of the main brands, a bit on the pricy side, be it location or inflation, or a combination of the both. Staff is always kind and looking the part for the Stockyard experience, tho this store is a bit off of the main drag, tho still within walking distance. Worth a stop just to browse, tho for less expensive fare, it's worth going a few more miles away and hitting a shop not in a tourist trap area.

My daughter and I were visiting Fort Worth and decided I needed my first pair of cowboy boots. Daisy was very helpful and had a lot of patience with us!! I ended up with two pair!! Would recommend checking out if you are in the stockyards area!! They have lots of clothes and accessories to shop as well!

I went in to get a hat reshaped and all three ladies working today (one older and two younger) just stood there and stared like you didn’t belong shopping there. I thought I was crazy until I read a recent review saying the same thing. You’re working in THE stockyards. Lighten up and show some character!

Had a really great experience here. The staff was welcoming and friendly as soon as we walked in. This is one of the only stores in the stockyard area that seems to have a wide selection of men's apparel. They also have a nice children's section as well. I got myself a tshirt and a dress for my daughter. I've been in a few different Cavenders stores, but this one really stands out.

We are frequent Cavenders shoppers but not this particular location. Our visit was fine, although we felt judged by staff as if we weren't good enough to be there. The selection was great (except not much in women's 11 boots) for men, women, and children. The men's boot section was especially great. We left early and only bought a few things because we were uncomfortable and even at checkout, staff was disgruntled to ring us up.

I’m from Oklahoma. The entire staff was quite helpful, professional, helped me find a purse to suit my needs - not too heavy but big enough to carry what I need and the design style. The building is very clean too. I highly recommend shopping there. They’re in the corner of N Main St & Stockyards Blvd on the northwest side of the road.

Love love love the store. My daughter and I walked in this morning to do some shopping for a concert my husband and I have this evening and I have never felt so judged and uncomfortable in a store like I did today. The store is by far one of my favorite but the customer service is all wrong. As soon as we walked in the young girl in the green outfit looked at my daughter up and down like we didn’t belong. No one asked if we needed help and I was there to shop. Ultimately I told her we needed to leave because of how they made us feel. It’s sad that still now a days we get judged by how we look. Needless to say drove across town made my purchase there. I love it there because of the convenience I just won’t shop there anymore.

The place to go at the stockyards if you are a serious tourist buying boots and hats. Value and variety are way better here than at the boutique shops

Bathrooms are ABSOLUTELY disgusting! I could smell them from the clothes racks. 4 employees there & not one could find a bottle of febreze or a toilet cleaner. Other than that boyfriend got 4 pair of jeans at a cheap cost, he was happy so that was a win.

The store overall is absolutely GREAT. The amount of merchandise and variety was impressive! However, my experience today was rather disappointing. My fiancé and I came in to browse and shop. The whole hour or so that we were there, we were followed by one of the workers (younger gentleman) as if we were stealing or up to no good. I believe in aggressive hospitality, being that I work for one of the largest retailers in the world, but this was different. I would suggest retraining to fix this issue so that future customers don’t feel uncomfortable shopping in your store. I don’t want to jump to conclusions and say I was being profiled, but it sure felt like I was.

Great selection of boots! Even offered a military discount. Very friendly and helpful staff.If you are inexperienced as I am in cowboy gear, be prepared to spend money because cowboy boots and western apparel is not cheap! Some boots in the store can go upwards of 1-2 thousand dollars! Found a great pair gor under $300.

Anything you could want for clothing. Their boot selection was a whole room. Should be able to find what you want! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly
