This is a really neat store, reminiscent of an REI or Sun and Ski, but on a more boutique type of level. They had a lot of brand names such as Yeti, Patagonia, Kuhl, North Face, and Cotopaxi. They also had the boutique brand name prices. Ouch! Was a little more expensive than the aforementioned box chain stores that can stretch out the discounts and push product faster. This location is in an upscale market area with the likes of Tiffany's, Jimmy Was, Gucci, Neiman Marcus, etc, so that pushes the price up a bit, I get that. Demographics and all.Was a neat little store. Had a lot of the new items, geared for cold weather right now, I'm sure the items change. Some of the spring stuff was arriving. The products speak for themselves as far as quality. However that's where the quality runs out. There was a staff of 3 there this day, but not a single one of them said a thing to us the entire time we were there, we were there for 20-25 minutes total. Two of them, younger ladies, just stood there talking to each other while leaning on the clothing racks up front. They glanced at my wife and I and went back to their discussions. Gave me a reminded reference to the scene in Pretty Woman, when Julia Roberts character walks into the classy boutique on Rodeo Dr, and the lady's shun her for not looking like she can afford anything. Sad thing is, we buy these items all the time for our adventures, rides, and hikes, and if they work off commission, then they just lost a huge amount of commission and sales cuz we looked, saw a few items we thought of grabbing, but left because of the snobbish and stand offish atmosphere. This is sad, because this was really neat little store cradled in the high end shopping distract amongst some really good eateries.

Nice locally owned shop, I just wish they had more inventory on winter gear.

The owner/manager Jared yells at employees and customers when something doesn’t go his way. Will not be coming back and I hope to god something is done about him.

The associate that helped us very helpful. She was deserves a 5 star rating. Her boss, not sure if she was the manager or not, was not as helpful. She deserves zero stars. I My son bought my husband an expensive Patagonia vest for Christmas. We didn't know they had a ridiculous 7 day return policy since we didn't buy it. We went out of town for several days and took it back on the 8th day, the day after New Year's Day. They didn't have his size and said they couldn't order it. That amazed us since they are one of the largest providers for cold weather wear and snow skiing clothing in the area. We couldn't return it because it was one day past their return policy. She made some lame excuse as to why, something about not being able to sell it. I have shopped and bought several things there over the years. I will never shop there again. I can order the same thing straight from Patagonia on line like I did this year with free shipping.

Great service. I spent double what I planned to because they were so helpful. I’m still a fan of service in retail. They will have my business from now on. How you treat people is everything.

Horrible customer service! The owner and associate were terribly rude when I asked for a refund for a sweater that had a hole in it. Their response was that’s why it was in the 75% off sale. There were several other sweaters there so I guess they all had holes in them? It was still almost $100. I can’t believe this store would sell defective merchandise. They did give me a refund but after arguing with me about it first. I used to shop in there quite a bit but they will never get my business again. If they treat customers like that I can’t believe they will stay in business.

Update: manager/owner is a very difficult and impossible person to work with. Buyer be aware especially of their return policy. Also was never able to authenticate he is an authorized Canada Goose retailer.

Terrible customer service. The only two employees just sit around on their phones and talk; they make no effort to assist. The lack of quality service is disappointing for a store with such potential.

Worst return policy in retail. Read your receipt, 7 days for full refund… not even an exchange after 15. Ridiculous and unapologetic.

This is absolutely the best ski shop in North Texas. I cannot recommend CD Ski enough. The staff are very knowledgable, friendly, and kind. This is the only place I will give my ski related business going forward.
