Today I went in here to open an account. I had called ahead of time to make sure they would accept my temporary ID, they said yes so I went in and the banker asked me where I got my id from, and I said the DMV and didn't believe me. Basically accusing me of making the id of something. I will never ever get a bank account with chase, even if they said they would give me an account I would not do it.

I felt that I had been robbed. The bank gives money and removes it without warning or explanation. My rent check that had cleared the bank is now suddenly bounced. I've got 3 days to get it together and get out. I am amputee in a wheelchair. Same thing with my hospitalization. No insurance anymore since chase bank unpaid that also .and they asked.if there was anything else?????no I guess I am just about done.

What a complete nightmare!!!
I chose to switch from my bank of ten plus years to Chase bank as a private client. There were going to be no fees and it was going to be more convenient. Big mistake!
when I closed out my other accounts and took the check my old bank wrote me to Chase and deposited it they put a hold on it for ten days. Ten days!! its all my money! They even called my old bank to verify the funds are there and the check is good. After they verified it and on the phone an hour Chase Bank then still denied it and continued the hold.
At this point they are just holding all my money hostage. The bills I pay at the beginning of the month cant be paid until they graciously let me have my money.
I am finding new bank ASAP. I will have zero to do with this bank. I was warned and should have listened.

Came here on Monday 9/18/23 during lunch at noon, the old lady manager on duty was rude. Everything seemed to bother her and when the Hispanic woman employee next to her would ask for help or looked like she needed help, the manager lady would make a face and looked like she was being bothered to help out. I came in to cash a 40 dollar check FROM CHASE and was told by manager that it couldn’t be cashed. When I asked for an explanation there was none except that it couldn’t be cashed even though I have cashed same check multiple times. She was extremely rude with no patience. It made me more mad how rude she was towards the other employee, i felt bad for her cause she looked intimidated to ask her anything…I will not be back to this location, she may have the skills/experience/manager position but customer service comes first. This branch should definitely get someone else to manage with better people skills and look like they actually want to be there.

If you’re in Texas just bank with frost. This location’s specifically takes a long time for simple transactions like deposits and customer service is non existent.

Some of the ladies at this location were really helpful buy the old manager lady should turn that scowl upside down and smile a little more, but I digress. The main issue I have with JP Morgan Chase bank is when cashing a JP Morgan Chase check without an account you are charged 10%.

I have been a chase customer for years and this is the best branch I have been to. Despite there being a branch in my hometown, my family and I prefer this particular branch. This branch has the best employees from the bankers, financial advisors, investors and even bank tellers. All of my visits have been pleasant and impressive. Special thank you to Ms. Zula she is a ray of sunshine and is highly knowledgeable. I am so pleased to have her as my banker.

I went to the Chase Bank on Bryant and Irving with a check for over $8,000 when I gave it to the teller he seemed confused when I check my account two days later I found out that he did not deposit my check into my account the bank told me they would find my check and deposit it they are now telling me my check is completely lost the check issuer is telling me that if the check has been cashed that I will not receive the funds I've lost my apartment my car and my family since this gross negligence happened inside the bank my government issued check made it to the other side of that counter I gave it to the bank teller he seemed to be shady never trust the bank

I visited the Bryant Irvin location Chase Bank early this morning for assistance with changing my account number due to fraud. As I observed my surroundings I was the only customer in the bank.A chase employee approached me and asked how she could help me. I explained that I need assistance with changing my account number due to fraud. The employee stated “Let me see if we have anyone available to assist you, if not, I’ll check the Benbrook location for available appointments.”She returned & informed me that no one was available to assist me and the Benbrook location didn’t have any available appointments.I watched her ask ONE employee & she never checked the Benbrook location. She also stated she didn’t have the capability to check additional locations when I inquired.She told me to try the Hulen location and that is the ONE thing she done right as that location assisted me immediately when they sensed the urgency in my voice. Changing my account number literally took 3 minutes.I APPLAUD the Hulen location and vow to never return to the Bryant Irvin location again. In addition, the poor customer service has helped persuade me to leave Chase Bank and transition to a credit union. I highly recommend a refresher customer service training for this lackluster location.
