Christian Brothers Automotive was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had dealing with car trouble. They were so detailed about what the issues were, but took the time to show me what was critical and needed attention. Their honesty and kindness made me feel so cared for. I can’t say enough good things about them.

I’ve never been to Christian Brothers. I had the mindset of “Christian” being used as a way to take advantage of people relying on the business to be “good” & treat people “Christlike”. I thought that way because that was my previous experience with other “businesses”. Today I had a unique opportunity to get an oil change their. I was pleasantly surprised by the environment created by the staff there. It was a warm, friendly, nicely decorated & super clean place. Everyone was nice & so we’re the other customers. This is one business that I will keep going back to that has the word “Christian” in it. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness today!

Just needed a state inspection done on my car. I called asked if they did it they said yes, they didn't tell me if they were busy or not, so I took a chance and went up there. There's one guy in the lobby passed out cold, no one else. I walk in and one guy sees me and acknowledges I'm there then tells another guy to see what I needed, then that individual acted like I was keeping him from something so important that he had an attitude of "what do you need" vs how can I help you? I told him I'd like a state inspection done and he tells me it's going to be 45 mins wait that there were 3 people ahead of me. Interesting as no one was in the parking lot in their vehicles waiting, and there was only one guy, previously mentioned, in the lobby passed out cold as if he was waiting on a big project to be done on his vehicle. So for a 10 mininspection seemed to me like I was told 45 mins so I'd leave and not be a bother to this guy, which I did. This wasn't my first bad experience with this location, they've always been rude, and inconvenienced when I've tried to give them my business. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER even think about going back there nor would I EVER refer anyone I know to that location. In response to the reply I got from the business, I am 110% certain of the location, the first bad experience was with my 2002 F150 that you guys changed out my fuel pump and wanted to fully overhaul my truck when I just needed to get it started. Secondly when I cams in for my inspection there was one young lady and she was on the phone helping a customer. There were no other "females" working and the two guys I spoke of appeared to be upper management which is why it appeared as thought I was bothering them, because the African American male that saw me was headed into perhaps his office or someone else's office, and when he looked for possible young ladies to assist there was a heavier set white male short hair shorter stature sitting at a desk not directly behind the counter kind of off to the side where normally people may not see him, and when the other guy asked him to see what I needed thats when the facial expressions and attitude of being bothered was expressed. Believe me I hate writing reviews but it take either real excellent service or real poor service to get me on here writing reviews, this location I speak of is just pass I-35W at Western Center, headed in the westbound direction hang a left just passed Whataburger, and Rosa's is on the right followed by Christian Bros, the one I am reviewing and have had the WORST experience both times I've used your services or attempted to use your services.

I have been in/out of the Ft. Worth area regularly for the past year due to dealing with my father’s estate after he passed. Additionally I have been on the road a lot for work and other responsibilities as well. Typically I do my own auto maintenance and repairs but due to time constraints I trusted this CBA shop to change all fluids and change the spark plugs. After $2600 (very expensive) I noticed a noise on my way home. I called CBA first thing the next morning I returned the truck to them and was told it was a torn boot for one of coils and they replaced it and that was causing a misfire and the noise. After about 3-5 days in total at CBA, It did not resolve the issue. And I had to make a 9 hour drive the next day. After being on the road for almost a month I brought it back to their garage to correct the issue. After two full days an entire garage of mechanics couldn’t find the cause. Ultimately I was told it was an exhaust leak (note it only occurs when the transmission is in gear) however it would take another 5+ hours to locate the location.I need my truck so I have picked it up unrepaired. As far as I can tell they were never actually working on it. I called multiple times and was always told they’ll be looking at it. How/why an exhaust leak would occur during a routine maintenance job I do not believe. I will be driving it back to Houston and taking it to a dedicated exhaust and dedicated transmission shop I trust.Very undependable. Serious lack of communication and customer service is very low. I didn’t mention the multiple conversations with Mark who constantly changed, how they said it was an AC problem (because the AC would do this when you shift to Drive) the day I was told they were sending a driver to pick me up in 15 minutes. Four hours later… Complete waste of time and my money. A complete joke.An update to this nonsense … 06/11/2023 … I have since had my truck repaired by another shop in Houston. They found the issue, took photos, typed a report and contacted me in less than an hour. My truck was repaired and ready the next day. Ripley’s on FM1960. Amazing service! The shop manager at CBA (Angela) said she would call me last Friday. She did not. I called her for an update on the situation. Either she called the wrong number or she was just lying about it.She also stated they would refund the service fee of the second shop but not their work. I haven’t seen that refund yet but maybe this week. She also stated the owner was out of the country and I couldn’t speak to him. And stated, when asked, they don’t have a corporate office. “It’s all home based”. Funny because I remember reading how CBA built a new HQ in Katy, TX. I have since looked this up and left a message with the CEO.

Kayla is one of the ladies that works the front counter. She is absolutely wonderful! She accommodates every customer that comes in as if they are family with the utmost respect. I had the pleasure of waiting in the lobby for a while and just watching how she interacts with everyone who comes through that door brought so much joy to my heart. There are good people in this world, sometimes in the most random places. Thank you Joy for making me a cookie while I waited too ❤️Service: Transmission

We were on the road out of town and our a/c suddenly went out (100+outside). We were hauling our camper as well. We called Christian Brothers hoping they could get us in and they treated us so well! They were busy, but got us in quickly and let known our compressor had gone out and needed to be replaced, which is not a quick fix. They helped us get our camper inside their parking lot under their video cameras overnight , helped us get settled in a hotel next-door and got our car fixed and ready and got us on the road the next morning by 11 AM! They were incredible and kind and very reasonably priced—So much so that when we got back home, we found a Christian Brothers an our town and are now going to them as well for all our cars! Highly recommend!

For years I have taken all my vehicles to Christian Brothers - Fossil creek for service and repairs. They are honest and always go the extra mile! Huge shoutout to the techs that removed a giant bundle of wire from the undercarriage of my vehicle that was left on highway from a scrap hauler. They cut it away piece by piece - no charge! Incredible customer service. Thanks Fossil Creek CB!

I'm giving this two stars since the people inside were an absolute delight to treat their clients well. Fresh drinks, a comfortable atmostphere-- but nobody comes to an auto repair ship for a soda and an AC. Sure, it's nice, but it didn't do me much good when it came to actually needing help with my vehicle. So I come around because they have an excellent rate for inspections, and I'm long overdue. I pull in, and of course it was a little busy at the time. What I didn't know was that I'd be waiting upwards of around forty-five minutes to an hour just to get told "we aren't going to do an inspection since an obvious part is missing on your vehicle."--They didn't say this outright? So why was I waiting that long just to be told that? They pulled in my car and it sat around for what was probably more than twenty minutes, and I just waited to be told that I was missing something obvious? Like, imagine you buy food on your thirty minute break before you have to get back to work, but after 28 minutes the food guy comes up and says "so, we aren't going to charge you because your card declined, but were also not going to bring you the food either." What was I waiting here for all this time then! It's so obvious, why was I just holding my breath when nothing was being done?!I wanted to like the place, but it got even worse when I saw the repair fees. I checked online-- the parts were EXPONENTIALLY less than wherever they were getting them from, same model and everything. In fact, I saw how to repair it myself and did! Less than an hour to do it, too. Literally just unscrewed some things and connected a cable. That's right: A CABLE. 400~ by the way to have it done by them.I love the staff, but I don't like their methods of repair or their strictures. I'd rather just go to Jiffy Lube. Sorry!

I am not sure how I feel about my recent experience and very disappointed.6/28-I took my car in for my AC that was not working. I dropped my car off and waited for them to call. They finally did about 1ish and stated the work that needed to be done and price. The suggested another few things but unfortunately money is hard to come by. I approved the work I could afford ($750ish)6/29 I didn’t hear anything from them.6/30 around 1ish I called them and asked the status of my car. The guy stated if it was done yesterday… why they didn’t call, I have no idea. So when I left shop the work suggested was only - Valve cover replacement, brake fluid and steering fluid. No other work stated. They fixed my AC, a head lamp, turning signal and flushed radiator. When I drove home my cover under my car came undone and so I called them. Guy in phone said “we didn’t touch that cover ma’am.”.. I was like the heck you didn’t or you didn’t do the work I just paid for. I went back and they fixed the cover, it came off a day later.I continued to drive my car but the AC was still doing the same thing as when I took it to them. I called them and they said bring it back. I had taken my car for an oil change during this time and the oil was on EMPTY. I am still baffled on how that was missed or not brought up but was willing to say innocent mistake. They did tell me I needed and oil change but didn’t mention it was on empty. So on 8/3 I took my car back at 7:30 am. I went ahead and approved the valve cover gasket replacement. They called me about 3:30 I need to do a full new AC compressor kit. About $2700… and they mentioned a slew of other things that were not mentioned only 30 days prior- like my headlamps being corrupt, umm you would have noticed when you replaced the lamp, right? …spark plugs, etc. not crucial but not mentioned. It’s like they just just tacked on more work since my previous visit since I had come back and was spending money on suggested repair. Anyways, a little shady. I declined the AC work because yea I need it but I don’t have that money. He said ok give him a little while and the car would be done. At 5:30 I called them and my car was not ready. I told the lady ok when can I get it tomorrow. I have to get it tomorrow. She was super nice but She said no promises but they would try. A few min later Mark called back and said ma’am we are still waiting for you to approved or decline work to be done. And I said what are you talking about. I spoke to you already and said no. He sounded frustrated with me and was like you have to have Ac. I said yeah well I don’t have the money. Just fix the valve cover. He was pretty upset with me.So they called me the next day and said the car was ready. Pretty early 10am ish… The guy Mark stated the manager was going to call me on a credit on the previous work done and see if they could work with me on the AC BUT I have heard nothing. I got a text to write a review and reach out for any concerns- a generic mass text- I did text back to that number but nothing.I did a free AC check to just see with another company and they stated there was no Freon so they did that for free! so I guess I am going to restart with that to see, because now I am super confused on what I paid for in 6/30 and really wondering what they did or didn’t do. The place I went said that there should be Freon in it even if compressor is bad, but they felt the compressor was NOT bad and perhaps just a leak so now I am not sure what to do or who to trust. I had always gone to the Roanoke location and the one our church has always recommended but now I am hesitant. The staff has always been nice but something in my gut is just saying something is not adding up. They already received around $1500 from this summer alone.I had my breaks done last summer that was around $1500, too THAT failed about 6 months later but it was covered under warranty and have had no issue since.

Christian Brothers went above and beyond with their service!! I had my catalytic converter stolen from my truck at a local hotel. I went to a local Toyota dealership and was told it would be 2 weeks to get another one. Called Christian Brothers and they had me on the road in less than 2 days! I can’t possibly say enough good things about them!! 5 stars is truly not enough!!!Service: Exhaust

I had a rare issue with my car’s electric connection- they checked it for free the same day I dropped it off. Although the code that came up was for dealer only- I was really thankful for them willing to look and see if they could help

I have taken my car to CBA few times, and they are absolutely wonderful. Best customer service in the industry! They also have a shuttle service, they will come get you/drop you off when ready. As well, after they inspect your car, they will send you their findings together with a video explaining what that issue does. For example if you need to have your brake pads replaced, they will send a video explaining how the brake pads work, etc. You can definitely youtube that your self, but it is so much more convenient how CBA does it.I am very please with them and I will take my car there for a long time to come.

I’m so thankful for the staff at Christian Brothers. They are consistently kind, friendly, and helpful. Today, there was a miscommunication about the appointment time, and I was told it would take all day. But as we talked, Mark worked it out so I could get in and out in under an hour. I was pleasantly surprised and blessed by their great customer service.
