The lady at the register started pushing buttons on the credit card key pad while I was trying to read the monitor. Never going back to that place again.. lady was kinda rude rushing me to move out of the way.

Finally able 2 shop here again. They were closed. Black male smelled like beer and the girl Cassy seemed like I was bothering her when I was cashing out. Sad to see someone so unwilling to just do her job and the other smelling like beer. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Went in to dollar general to grab a couple items and The Young lady who was working the Cash Register proceeded to yell very loudly, “bring your items up to the register we close in 4 minutes, meanwhile it was 8:32PM 28 minutes to 9:00PM, a lot of customers already in the store were upset because she kept yelling, “we’re closing we’re closing” by the time I arrived to the register, she proceeds to tell me the system is down and I need to leave. I asked her when did it go down, because you were just yelling at everyone. She states “I don’t know who your trying to get an attitude with but I’m not the one” I thanked her anyways and returned my items to the shelf and she locked the door behind me! This employee was Irate and was extremely disrespectful and rude! She clearly wanted to go home and forced everyone out the store! This is a Business and I’m a Paying customer! If I owned this dollar general I would be highly upset at this employee! There was roughly about 6 paying customers in the store, as I sit here and right this review I’ve seen about 5 others try to go in dollar general as it states it closes at 9PM. Do better dollar general about who you hire!!!

This store is conveniently located in Forest Hill, but hardly ever serviceable. It's mostly closed for, "technical" reasons, will return in 30 minutes or some other note left on the door.
Once I've waited for the 30 minutes(from the time I arrived)as the note indicated and watched 15 people come to the store, only to be turned around.

My elderly mom and I stopped by the Forest Hill Dollar General ... First thing we noticed was how clean and fully stocked the store was... The employees were friendly and helpful ( especially Tai)
I was very pleased with the whole experience, and we will come back again
soon ....

We went there today for a quick grocery stock, and unfortunately when we got back to the house, we discovered that two of our items have been expired for the past three months. I have never had a problem with them before this, so I didn’t even think to check the expiration date at the store.
