Went here a couple of days ago, very clean and organized, friendly staff. Not sure what everyone’s freaking out about in the reviews, but the incident happened 26 years ago and there is no smell other than the usual grocery store scent.

Epic grocery store went here During 1999 and it was the best experience, The smell amazing it smelt like I was in a dream, The produce some of the freshest stuff I’ve ever seen, In the meat was super epic highly recommend you go here

Don't review this store for one star (or at all really) if you're going to do it because of something that happened over 25 years ago 😭 that's unfair to the store owners unless you legitimately REALLY hate this place. Mexia has nothing to do with this store aside from being the same building, which has long been cleaned up. Leave them alone
Let me convince you not to indulge on this one. I am a man of integrity, and that means defending what is the truth even if it means people don't like me for it. This is a low income neighborhood. Think about what's really at stake:
- A mom looking for a quick stop on her walk with her kid, now has to scroll through pictures of rotten food and fake reviews.
- A recently arrived immigrant family unfamiliar with the area might think it's unsafe to shop here at all
- Someone on SNAP is looking for a place open late, but is flooded with reviews calling the place haunted or diseased.
- Annoyed employees (probably minimum wage) now have to deal with tons of viral traffic and suspicion from people believing the store is still a biohazard.
Just sit down and think about it with me. I can't stop you but I'm strongly suggesting you don't leave that misleading review

Loved the smell, I think I also saw some blow-files in aisle number 12. They said “what’s up” to me in a fly voice. 10/10, would shop here again.

The short lady is racist, discriminates, she's lazy doesn't work at all. Tells everyone to use the self checkout and they do not place items at the right place. At times they have items with wrong Price tag, it says one price and when they charge you says $2-$3 extra.

This store is a wreck and the people behind the counter are rude and inconsiderate. Is an absolute inconvenience to them to have to assist with anything. Every time I've been there they always make me use the self checkout because there's never any money the the only register . I can't ever shop without the staff making me feel like they expect me to steal something. It's a horrible experience!
