This review is based on a particular employee. I was at the store last night and had excellent service from a gentleman who had to ring the bell to bring another coworker to the front. Today, I went in and I had to ring the bell for help. I pressed it and didn’t hear it ring. So, I pressed it again. It rang loudly the night before so, I thought something was wrong with it. Then, another person came up to purchase something and thought I worked there. I pressed the bell again. The worker (a female) came to the front and stated, “you only need to ring the bell once”. I told her why I rang it again. That I was hear the night before and it rang out loud. Then, she said, “If it lights up, it’s working. It’s only for us.” She spoke very rude and condescending. It made me want to put back everything I purchased. I let her know that I felt she was being rude and condescending and good have stated that it a different way. Maybe she should’ve been at the checkout in the first place since 3 people were waiting to checkout by the time she got up there to check me out.

Probably the cleanest, nicest Dollar General in North Texas. The employees are always so friendly and willing to help if you need it. I also noticed today they already have out the Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes! Keep up the good work DG!

Cole and Batman(that's what I've heard other co-workers call him) are my two favorite employees! Always greeting you with a smile and always willing to help you look for anything. Also the card only has gotten much better!

The only real thing I don't like is that corporate completely took away self-checkout. I get that some people don't like it and complained, but they should have added the option to have someone check us out instead of taking away self-checkout for everyone. I sent a complaint about it to corporate, and their excuse was "our goal is to get back to our roots and serve our customers and communities with a friendly face to face interaction." This is nonsense, as this is one of the friendliest stores I've been to. I'm always greeted as I enter, asked if I'm doing OK or need help, and thanked as I leave; the employees have always had a friendly face when I'm there.

Manager here at this location was super nice and helpful she explained to me a few things and made me feel a whole lot better about the situation that had happened and so I would recommend this Dollar store above All Else

Cole is out here in the pouring rain, bringing in the merchandise/ carts and isn't bothered by it one bit. That's true work ethic . Give her a raise ! She's keeping this store together single handedly. I see her here all the time, and every interaction has always been pleasant. Always willing to help even while soaked from the rain. She didn't hesitate one bit . Awesome person

This area needed a general goods store badly. This is a nice clean store right on the main road. Self checkout only which some people don't like, but I prefer it. So 4 stars.

Most of the time, the stupid stupid self checkout is card only. I dont see the purpose of how this store operates. Especially in an area where this location was actually needed.

I agree with Nova. You can never find anyone in the store. Also the prices of the items are crazy.. it's a dollar general!! They are competing with convenient store prices. Might as well go all the way into town and get the same price things.

I'd give this store 4.8 stars 'cause I'm also not a fan of self-checkout only, but the friendly staff are always there to help if you need it, happy to come get you cigarettes if you ask, the place is nice, clean, well stocked and easy to get in and out of. I'm glad I don't have to drive down into Saginaw traffic to go to that s-hole DG or Walmart anymore for just 1 or 2 items.

Garbage store. Other DGs have a self checkout and employee manned checkouts in case you don't feel like working for DG for free.This DG ONLY has self checkouts, in a brand new store. So their business model from the start is to steal their customers time and labor. I even heard an employee say, "We're just here to stock."So if you're cool doing someone elses job for free, it's pretty much the same as any other DG, but harder to get back onto the main road if there's any traffic.
