I live close is why I keep coming and almost every time I’m harassed by the same two men standing outside the store they don’t do anything about it when told about them asking for money following you all the way to your vehicle! There is always so much trash outside the store on top of the blocked isles with unopened stock on carts in the way of the empty shelves I don’t recommend coming to this family dollar at this point it’s not safe for anyone! especially women and kids.

I don't think I need to write a review on Family Dollar but... make your trips here fast, know what you want and don't ask any questions just like any other Family Dollar or Dollar store.
Don't think you are gonna make any last minute runs because the workers are underpaid, tired, and this is one of the most unsafe areas in the city. They will shut it down 30 minutes early.
Keep mace on you if you go here at night.....It's Family Dollar.
This one star is for the company, not the employees.

Never thought I’d be writing a review for Family dollar, but after standing in line with a new hire who clearly was not versed with the register for 10+ minutes while four other employees (one of which was on her phone, pretending to stock. One constantly in and out of store walking directly past/behind the girl, and one Hispanic guy who wasn't doesn't much of anything just sat around idly. He finally comes to the register now with the chick who constantly walked by the girl and standing there tells the other employee after a customers says “I’m making yall customers mad” he says they’ll be alright. Are you kidding me? He should’ve opened another lane as there were three that could’ve been in use. The manager was not on duty, Thursday, 8:30. Need to fire everyone and start over.

Convenient Quick Shop Spot
Update: This is the closest store to my home, so really it's like my neighborhood store. Unfortunately, I've run there 3 times about 30mins-to-an hour before they close and they shut down the cigarette early. They refuse to change the inventory number by one and sell me a pack and they refuse to give me an actual time as to when they stop selling them replying only, ' it varies depending on who is working and how they feel. They appear very lazy and completely unconcerned with the fact that the store is in fact open for business!! While cigs are not the only reason I went each time I decided to take all my business elsewhere. I have chosen -now after this rude behavior and attitude has occurred 3 times- to no longer shop at this store. I do not recommend this store to others.

The employee Hispanic 5’6 male shaved head tattoos on his arms was very rude. Refused to sell items because they were on sale and the family dollar app had coupons. He is storing all the items behind the counter that are on sale or have specials. He says he’s a manger but prolly gives false info. According to corporate policy he is breaking the rules. He even refused to sale the items at full price. Something is up at this store very shady. Be careful shopping here !

Mi mi the manager was super patient and nice to both her customers and the co worker which she worked beside during today’s evenings hours. The line was wrapped around the aisles and she kept her cool and handled each customer with care and dignity. I notice both workers have incredible customer service and they both deserve a pay increase. Keep up the great work ladies :)

I give them no stars it was 9:30pm and they already closed. Big lady just stood there watching me. Y’all need to hire better help that store is nasty just wanted to get tp but oh well next time I’ll go to the one in my neighborhood!

Supposedly it's the grand reopening because they remodeled. It looks the exact same. One of the cashiers was super nice and helpful but they were having issues with their registers. At one point I tried getting help from another cashier and she ignored me. She was complaining the whole time about people being rude when she herself was being rude. She also didn't seem very well trained on what to do because she quite literally messed up our transaction at one point.

Usually only ever have 1 person working the register and that person is usually doing 3 other things at the same time resulting in longer lines to check out. And the store itself is layed out strangely so that when you walk in you have to walk past this long line in a narrow walkway to get to the rest of the store. The manager is usually busy restocking so if there is a problem at the register, i.e. needs change or needs a approval, you have to wait to have the clerk find the manager then have them stop what they are doing to come to the register again resulting in longer checkout lines. But the staff is always friendly, helpful and doing the best that they can.

I'm going to say it's okay, because lately that I been going in there at least once a week, and thy never had what's on sale, or they stock everything under wrong price sign. And they get upset when you tell them that they have to give it to you for that price. ???♀️
