The Fort Worth Zoo is home to nearly 7,000 animals ranging from more than 500 species, including some rare and endangered species. The mission of the Fort Worth Zoo is to strengthen the bond between humans and the environment by promoting responsible stewardship of wildlife and ensuring diverse, high-quality educational and entertaining family experiences through effective and efficient management of its resources. The Fort Worth Zoo was recently named the No. 1 zoo in America by a 2020 USA Today Readers' Choice poll. Visitors describe the Fort Worth Zoo as one of the best in the country, with a wonderful variety of animals, impressive layout, and beautiful scenery. However, some note issues with the food and customer service, with employees often appearing miserable and providing little acknowledgment to guests. Despite these drawbacks, the zoo is praised for its well-maintained and updated exhibits, offering a wide range of animals and unique experiences. The discounted Wednesday tickets are considered an amazing deal, and the zoo is highly recommended for both first-time and returning visitors, especially to avoid large crowds. Guests are excited about the ongoing renovations and additions to the zoo, which promise to enhance the already impressive experience.
One of the best zoos I have been too personally. Lots of animals and they are very active

It made our day. Kids loved the zoo. Must visit. It’s big zoo, so you need whole day to cover. It’s quite clean and many animals to view and you can feed like giraffe. It’s safe and close to animals. Free parking. Inside has food and cafeteria.

Well laid out, spread out, feels a bit old, but they’ve done a good job of it. Kids enjoyed seeing the giraffes. I think the design helped the place feel like you get your monies worth. Parking is $15.00
