I’m writing this as a concerned mom whose daughter has always loved coming into FP Movement. It’s one of the few places where she’s felt genuinely welcomed and comfortable shopping especially for athletic clothes, which has always been a bit overwhelming for her.
She recently went in on her own, something that’s a big step for her, and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. She mentioned that someone she’d never seen before approached her with an overwhelming amount of suggestions and interrupted her in the fitting room multiple times to try and make her try on clothes that were not in her comfort zone. That made her feel pressured to buy things she wasn’t sure about. She left the store feeling anxious and upset—which was honestly very disappointing to hear, especially considering how positive her past visits have been.
We’ll be returning the items, but more importantly, I hope the team takes this as an opportunity to be more mindful and socially aware of each customer’s experience. Everyone shops differently, and creating a space that meets people where they’re at without pressure is what made FP Movement special to her in the first place.
We hope to feel that again on future visit

Let me just say Yulissa has to be the most kindest and sweetest person. Right when I entered the store with my friends she was so friendly and helping us out with fitting rooms and everything. Had such great conversations with her. And just wanted to shout out her hard work and dedication to making customers connections! Thank you for being so fun every time we came back to the store. I just had to take a moment to shout out Yulissa at Free People Movement — she completely turned my day around. After having a less-than-great experience at another store, I walked into Free People Movement feeling a little disappointed and honestly hesitant. But the moment Yulissa greeted me, everything changed.
She was so warm, welcoming, and intentional with her energy. I genuinely felt seen and appreciated. She picked up on how I was feeling without me even saying a word, and made it her mission to give me and my friend the best experience possible. We never felt rushed or like we were being hurried out — instead, she created such a comfortable space for us to browse, try things on, ask questions, and just enjoy the store.
Yulissa went above and beyond in every way. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail didn’t just make me feel better — they made me want to come back. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares that much about your experience. I left the store not only with pieces I loved, but with a renewed sense of excitement for shopping again. Thank you, Yulissa — you’re a gem!

Went into the store with my three daughters and one of my daughters went to try some clothes on and she was being rushed out when my second daughter went in there to try a shirt on. When we went to the checkout the girl was very rude and bagged our clothes and just threw the bag on the counter. The other employee there then questioned her when we were walking out and asked her what size was the shirt. I felt like we were watched the whole time. I wouldn’t have purchased anything but my daughter really wanted the shirt so that’s why I did. Super disappointed how we were treated will not be going back to that store again.

When turning to workout clothes, you wanna feel your best! This store is just for that, it is absolutely adorable inside and out. Along with great customer service!!! Will always be my go to workout store and who doesn't love Free People to begin with? I definitely recommend!

After burning $500 at a neighboring store, I stumbled upon FP Movement. Recalling the dozens of times I've seen a cute pair of shorts pop up on social media, I walked in this store ready to burn the rest of my cash on overpriced shorts, convinced I needed a pair in every color. There were several associates working the day I went in, and not a single one could be bothered to help me. I realize I'm not a 20-something college girl, I'm a 30-something mom still carrying some weight from the last baby... but I felt like a whale in this store getting eyed by the associates that dare not approach me. Maybe it's because my husband and baby were with me and there's some unspoken rule they weren't allowed to grace FP with their presence. I would have loved a fitting room, or an offer to check for another size in one of the colors... but nothing. So I skipped out of there and spent thousands of dollars in stores that didn't make me feel ashamed for being a mom that's not at her skinniest and had a family in tow. Someone missed out on a good commission!
