DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT get your insurance from these scamming sorry azz insurance. They will not give you a payout claim, if you ever file an accident report. When you cancel your policy, they will still TAKE MONEY OUT, and take forever to send it back. They’ll give you a run around, saying “it’ll be deposited,” or “it’s coming in the mail”. I paid for FULL COVERAGE for almost 2 years and the moment I had an accident, that was over 10,000 worth of damages, they only wanted to settle me for a 700$ check. All the rumors and videos about them are true, they are stingy, they don’t payout, and THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU, just your money!

Rates are reasonable, but there are better deals out there for more coverage. I don't like that they call every day and bother 5 or more days before payment every month. They also don't like to payout on most accidents.

Been with Fred Loya since 2009, never had a claim until this year for hail damage. The claim service has been a disaster. they allocate a time for car rental based on the body shop's mechanic (which is fine), but if he goes over that initial specified time he guessed on, you have to call and have the time extended. While you are on hold, the insurance will call the body shop, in my case the parts were not in yet, so the insurance asked for the part suppliers name and number and all the details of the part. So they called the supplier to check when the parts will be delivered - now mind you the mechanic still has to install the parts, but they again made a decision on the delivery date of the parts to ok the rental extension based on the delivery of the parts not the mechanic. Plus i had to stay on hold because I was told by the insurance that they do not call back and if I hang up I would not receive the rental car extension. So 48 minutes of my work day I remained on hold to get the extension when in common sense wise the mechanic wouldn't be able to finish his job. Low and behold the parts were not delivered when the insurance was told, so I have to call back on my work time to get the extension or the rental car for the weekend is out of my pocket. I thought that the insurance rates for this company was ok, but now I see you get what you pay for. they low ball everything and like I said 1st claim I've ever had with them and i was treated very poorly. Bought another truck for the family home this weekend and they had a insurance agent on site. For carrying a much better coverage overall I mean collision, un-insured motorist, rental car insurance, and roadside all went up about 50% in coverage. And I'm only paying $19.00 more a month for adding on another vehicle with full coverage on our policy. It's crazy, It is a buyer beware circumstance using Fred Loya, they do not like taking care of their customers just receiving their monthly premium. Not worth it at all, I will be sure to spread the good news about the new insurance company and spread the news about my experience with Fred Loya on my only claim I've ever had with them, since I signed up for their insurance in 2009. BEWARE you are getting what you pay for no doubt.

They are good. I just think its ridiculous to charge a client to change their name.. my mother retired from Allstate Insurance and worked there for 42years. One job since she was 17years old. She thinks it's wrong to charge for something so minor as a name change... expect additional charges for things other insurance companies would never charge for.
