Perrone was able to get all my meds, when Walgreens wasn't. They even followed up with phone calls. Friendly staff.

VERY rude staff. They will act clueless and play dumb with you. You seriously are forced to pester them in order to get your medicine. I have problems Every. Single. Time I try to get my prescriptions. Several times they apparently "never received the fax" of the prescription. So then I started showing up in person just to hand them the physical paper. After maybe 1 or 2 times of that working, they somehow misplaced the paper the next time. Only until after I called them a week later asking for a status update were they prompted to find it and finally enter it to be filled. My last visit was the worst one yet. My prescription was handed/sent in on the 20th. There were 2 prescriptions; 1 typically much quicker to make than the other. The 22nd I received a text that 1 prescription was ready. Because of my previous experiences, I assumed that the prescription that was ready was the one that usually is quicker. Only until I called on the 28th did I find out that the quicker one was never put in to be filled because they said that patients usually don't take it at the same time as the slower prescription I had. So they never put in my prescription to be filled because of extreme assumptions on their parts. Seriously, why would you not fill a prescription someone has an order for??? Not only that, but the last 3 times I've sent things to them from the doctor, they have been BOTH medicines. Yet randomly this 4th time they decided to just not make it. Soooo weird of them. Well, after I find this out on the call, I tell them that yes, in fact I do want the prescription I literally brought in, and asked when it would be ready. The lady on the phone told me that it might be ready later today at the earliest. So then I asked, oh okay so if I came in tomorrow then both would be ready? And she said yes. And then I told her that I would come in tomorrow to pick them both up. The next day I had someone pick up my 2 prescriptions for me, but they call me and say that the pharmacy only has 1 and put back the other one to stock. So I call the pharmacy and they say something about how they keep prescriptions for 7 days but after that they go back into stock. And ironically enough, she counts the days and counts today as the 7th day. She tried to brush past this but I caught it. So I ask her why they put back my prescription if today is the 7th day, and they put them back after keeping them for 7 days, so today they should've kept it according to their own rules. So then she says something about holidays. So then I tell her how I literally called them yesterday and asked if both of my prescriptions would be ready tomorrow for me to come in and pick them up and how she confirmed yes to me. Lady on the phone gave some generic answer of not being sure what the lady yesterday told me. Definitely avoiding answering me. At this point I bring up how I would've come in earlier had they not randomly cancelled my 1 prescription. Because this whole time I was waiting for a text saying I had 2 prescriptions ready so I could get both at the same time. No one told me they were only going to make 1. Why is it on me to have to ask them and hold them accountable to that? They should've told me they were only making 1, and they shouldn't have put my other prescription back to stock.

My prescription took 3 days for them to fill. If you need something same day or within 24 hours, try somewhere else. The staff were always really nice though and the service was good. The store was easy to get in and out of for pick up. It just took too long and I feel bad for them because they said they only had one person in the lab at the time.

My first experience here was quite irritating. It may not be a reflection of all staff, but the couple of ladies handling the registers that I interacted today were incredibly rude and expressed their frustrations of being busy… right in front of me. Granted, the small, local pharmacy got very busy during my 40-minute wait, my interaction with the frontline staff was not pleasant. I’m especially disappointed because of this careless pharmacy experience while trying to care for a sick loved one.

The majority of the ladies that work here are so incredibly rude and must hate their job. I’ve encountered one nice one so far. Just left there and what another unpleasant experience. If I didn’t have to have my prescription compounded then I wouldn’t buy from here. Great customer service is truly a dying trait. Geez.

First time user of this pharmacy. Must say ... impressed all the way around. I think I had grown into thinking CVS and Walgreens were the norm ... Perrone was quite a pleasant suprise. Great communication, friendly and personable staff, educated and impartial pharmacists are just a few of the stand out qualities I noticed on my first experience with them. While they're about 20 mins farther than the nearest "big box" pharamcy .... I'm happy to make the drive for a local business run by great people. Well done, Perrone!

This place was amazing just 5 years ago but from what I can tell the family doesn’t run it anymore. And the techs don’t care and honestly as someone who worked as a nurse in hospice and several other departments I can tell you the techs don’t seem super knowledgeable and can get rude, as if they’re immune to any repercussions for doing so which would lead me to believe the higher ups don’t know or don’t care. I’ve been using this pharmacy for at least 9 years, but I can’t lie I’m ready to start calling attention to things and not letting them get away with things like picking and choosing when they give partial scripts bc I’m sure if I were to provide them with all the documentation and video I have The Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) would have a field day. Please do not think I care about your licensing whe y’all seem to not care as much about your patients. How incompetent can you be to not be able to count in a pharmacy. Or what kind of tech can’t answer simple questions or even worse give the wrong info and when you talk to an actual pharmacist then then tell you that’s not right. I know pharmacists and I promise you I’ll be asking them some questions about who I speak to bc it’s gotten ridiculous up there. It’s shameful really. There’s other pharmacies but I hope this one can pull it together again or put an actual family member back in there that cares about the history of that company

I have been using this pharmacy for about a year now and I have to say this is the best pharmacy in my area by far. It’s so much better than the chain pharmacies. It feels like the people really care about their patients and they will get the medicine that you need, even if it has to be specially ordered. If you’re looking for a new pharmacy I strongly encourage you to give this pharmacy a shot. You’ll see the difference I’m talking about.

Avoid at all costs! Find a different pharmacy and save yourself the torture! Here's a FUN scenario that keeps happening with this pharmacy:1. They receive a prescription for you2. They tell you OVER THE PHONE that it'll be ready tomorrow and that you'll get a discount for a several month supply of your medication.3. You arrive happy the next day, they look you dead in the eyes and call you a liar and that the phonecall never happened.4. They tell you to wait an hour while they make your medication on the spot.5. You return after an hour and they tell you it's impossible to make the medication that quickly and tell you to come back tomorrow.6. You come back tomorrow and they tell you that you don't have a prescription.Absolutely awful, I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. They don't care at all about you, nor your life saving medications, nor do they care about wasting DAYS of your time driving back and forth while they play stupid little games with you. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. What's most tragic is that a year ago they were one of the best specialty pharmacies around, now their new staff is just sadistic.

My dad is on his deathbed, and this pharmacy let him get to his last dose of his prescriptions 2 days in a row. Marcus, the supposed mgr. at this pharmacy said next time tell the nurse to order it stat. I was hoping that the pharmacy and nurse would communicate the urgency here. *If you have 20 ml of morphine on Friday night, and give 1 ml of morphine to the patient every hour, you’re gonna run out the next day. The nurse and pharmacy should be able to foresee that one instead of playing the blame game. It was next to impossible to get an ETA for the driver. The pharmacy mgr said “I understand.” No. No you don’t. It’s CRITICAL that my dad has pain medication on his last days on earth.

Just went to pick up a prescription. Was told they had just sent back my prescription earlier today because they only hold prescriptions for 7 days. I double checked my texts from them and none of them mention a seven day hold or indicated they would be sent back. I was not called or texted to let me know they would be returning my meds. Extremely unprofessional that they would do that without clearly identifying this practice.

I am (was) a customer of 7 years who trusted this pharmacy with their heath and heath maintenance because of 2 things: they would always say hi to me by name during every drop off with a smile, and I never worried about one of my scripts being filled because I trusted they knew how important each of my monthly medications were. They were my advocate in health, simply amazing. Those days are beyond gone. My last fill was enough - after 3 awful experiences before saying no more - and it was the last straw. They now lose medications, file things incorrectly and fraud insurance, and left me 2 days without my medication because of "low stock" even though I dropped it off 3 days in advance. Should it have been one day more of a already late fill I would have been in the ER due to a risk of seizure. They were the ones who had my script, I had zero power. Do not fill here. Ruined local business due to a complete shift in patient care. Avoid avoid avoid.

I wouldn't allow these incompetent morons to fill a sandbag, much less a prescription. If you value your and your families health, stay far away. My wife attempted to fill her anti-depressants here. She waited 2 weeks without a call from this place. They, of course tried to blame the Dr for not sending the script. After we received proof from the Drs office that they did send it, Perrones denied ever receiving it. When my wife went to Perrones to see what the problem was, they lied, were horribly rude and had my wife in tears. As she walked away, crying and embarrassed, they sarcastically wished her a good day. My wife wouldn't let me go inside as she knew I would go scorched earth.
