Frankly, I bet disappointed. After being a connoisseur all my life and knowing a thing or two about barbecue, I was disappointed and the overall quality of the experience and food. It just didn't taste like there was a lot of care in the preparation. I'll try to get in the future but not as my first choice.

Been coming here since 2018 when visiting Fort Worth. Sadly, today will be our last. Previously, brisket was always juicy and flavorful, today, dry and bland. Fries always freshly cut, today frozen. Asked staff about changes, they explained that the restaurant has new owners. What a shame.

Rough as cowboys. Less vegetables. Recommend Bacon Burnt Ends $7.5 (1/4 lb) at Heim Barbecue; did not have chance to try the famous Brisket Plate which was out that day.Parking: Parking in the back, accessible from S Henderson St.

Maybe the best barbecue I've ever had, and that's saying something. I'm from NC and we have it pretty good. Just wow!

Him bbq is a must have every time I come here. The most popular being the bacon burnt ends. The meat is so well prepared and the staff is really friendly!

Busy on a Saturday afternoon. Line to get to the counter, but the food was worth it. Limited parking.

Our first time here! We were a group of three. We ordered the three meat plate with brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. We also chose fhe Mac and cheese and potato salad as our sides. We added the pinto beans, side salad, and small potato skins to share. The turkey was the favorite out of the meats. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese the best but the other two people preferred the beans. The potato skins were not what I imagined (they were like nachos made out of potato skins) but the table agreed they were very good. The other people think they would have been better without the queso. I'm not sure.We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday. There was no line and it was quick to order. The cashier was happy to answer questions. The food arrived quickly.Pretty much immediately after we picked up our food a long line developed. It just kept getting longer and longer.

OK revision from the original review, the companies changed hands. I don’t know how much Travis has to do with it now but they’ve removed some of the great items on the menu that separated them from your average barbecue joint the new fries horrible actually sent them back on our last visit, they don’t have the sausage corndogs anymore. They don’t have the wings. They’ve taken tacos off the menu that means we lost queso. We lost salsa. I’m disappointed now it’s just a regular barbecue place selling regular barbecue items. They’re good items, but I don’t have to drive all over town to get brisket. There’s brisket all over town and the best of the ones with the pat on .
