We just adopted our sweet girl Sundae (formerly known as "Doodle") from Highway Hounds. The volunteers worked patiently with us to find the right dog for our family, even letting us introduce our older dog to the puppy to make sure they would be a good match. The adoption process was smooth, and we are so happy with our new family member.

Last call dogs and cats! Doing everything they can to save those found on our streets and dumped at the shelters. I am forever greatfull I found this group. Awesome working with them as a foster. Very supportive and helpful.

The entire group of people that volunteer for highway hounds are amazing. They go above and beyond to make absolutely certain that these thrown away dogs and cats find loving and safe homes to go to. They never stop working. And yet they never get paid a dime. It's truly the most giving group of people I've ever met. If your looking for a new pet adopt don't shop. Ask for susan

Susan worked to help Jezzie, who had been dumped in the country find her forever home in Colorado. She helped us save this sweet girl from coyotes, cars or worse. A sweet angel of a lady doing great work-thank you Susan.

We love fostering for Highway Hounds! They truly care for every single fur-baby that they rescue. If a dog ends up not fitting in with your home they find another foster right away. They provide you with everything you need for your fosters like food ,toys, meds and crates. We are always needing more fosters so take a leap and fill out an application

I really love this organization!...it's ALL about the animals and finding them furever homes...finding fosters to keep them out of the shelters until transport is key...they love their foster families!...Im not able to foster myself, but I try to do my part in walking the dogs on transport day, transporting an animal to and from wherever they need to go, vet/foster/shelter/transport day/....also taking donations of food/new or old blankets/bath rugs/towels/any old/new toys/basically anything that can be old or new because they provide everything the foster will need to foster correctly....it's a really great program!
