We had our taxes done at this location and were sent home with someone else's 1040 which included social security number, banking account information, home address, etc. After calling back, there is no peace of mind that someone else doesn't have our 1040 package or that our information is not compromised. I would not recommend H&R Block.Would have posted zero stars if possible.

I went in to file my return, and not even halfway through I had a question of something that looked different than the previous year, though nothing had drastically changed. When the person assisting attempted to answer my question and I asked if she could explain further, she said "look, let me dumb it down for you" she then proceeded to backtrack and in the process of trying to prove my question wrong, she proved me right. Then looked at me and says "oh, you are right actually, so yeah i guess well do it that way." Yet didn't apologize or offer any consolation for speaking to me in the tone or manner she did, implying because I was asking a question I must be dumb. I Did not appreciate and would not recommend. Taxes can be difficult enough on their own, you don't need someone speaking down to you because you ask a question. I took my forms and will be filing elsewhere.

I DO NOT suggest getting your taxes done here. The elderly lady with the cubicle first left near entrance door, I found her rude and she rushed through my taxes. She never did update my information nor did she add my documents to H&R Block app. She sent the info for the emerald card to a number I previously had on file which I told her I no longer use. So I had to check my information through the number on the back of the card. I told her I wanted to use my bank for the rest of my funds and she told me it would just be sent to the emerald card. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and I’m NEVER RETURNING!

Worst customer service ever, nobody has a clue about anything in that office, ended up doing my taxes myself saved 85$

I am VERY PLEASED with Florence Fineman, the lady who prepares my taxes at H&R Block: she is very professional, knowledgeable, precise, careful and courteous. She explains things to me and she listens to my comments. Overall, it is a VERY POSITIVE experience.

I never leave reviews on any site but I'm pretty frustrated and upset. I've been in customer service with restaurants for 7+ yrs, hotels, Harley Davidson, Sales with Spectrum, etc. I contacted this office on Monday and left a message for the supervisor to call me back but no return phone call. Come today, thursday, I finally get a hold of her to explain my issue and complaint. I filed my 18' &19' returns last year at this location and was guaranteed returns' by the tax preparer Netta. She contacted the IRS herself "supposedly" to make sure I'd get both for sure. Before I left, she went in the back of the office to call the IRS and I heard her giving her ID number/info to check on my returns. It's not right to guarantee a customer a refund when these representatives can't guarantee a return themselves. I found this out per the supervisor I contacted today. I didn't have any back taxes and didn't owe anything. It is poor customer service when the supervisor is denying that this representative Netta wouldn't check in with the IRS about a return(s) herself when in fact she did. Why would you argue with a customer when she wasn't there herself the day I filed? She was rude and non apologetic about my experience. I'm pretty upset to find out I in fact did not receive any refund by direct deposit or check when I was depending on these returns last year. I would be cautious of what representative to file your taxes with to make sure you're not misled or falsely guaranteed a return..It is upon the IRS discretion not the representative, at the time I didn't know. When I was already struggling I had paid over a hundred dollars and hoped I'd get my return in three weeks or two months at most yet nothing. I was extremely upset with Netta and the supervisor Stephanie when they should have apologized instead of blowing off these issue like its nothing. The supervisor advised me I should just handle it with the IRS instead for the underlying issue. I explained I already checked in the meantime waiting for her call back. The IRS site and my block had no explanation and she advised me to call the IRS again. Of course I am but obviously I have to call at seven am. to get a good chance with a representative to find out why I didn't get my returns.Everyone knows its super difficult to get a hold of the IRS at this time of the year.. At least make sure your employees are following their procedures and try to resolve concerns better to have returning customers that trust these representatives. I understand they can't do anything now or after the returns are sent. This is why I didn't file my taxes with Netta because of the lost of trust and customer service. Therefore, I went to the one in Springtown since I moved recently. I suggest everyone to check with the IRS before or after to see if you owe anything to avoid getting your hopes up...
