About Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden is a serene and peaceful oasis located within the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. This nearly century-old destination is beautiful, well-maintained, and features distinct Japanese aesthetics with plants and water bodies. Visitors can explore over 110 acres, walk around, look at koi fish, and enjoy a quiet, peaceful atmosphere that feels transporting. It is perhaps the best place to see fall colors in the area. The garden is fully wheelchair accessible with an easy pathway to navigate. A shuttle bus runs from the ticket counter. There is an entry fee, which many find worth the cost. A gift shop offers items like sake cups, tea cups, and decorative plate ware. Special events like Lightscape feature unique lighting installations with different themes, including some that highlight Texas, creating a magical and fun experience for a wonderful evening out. It is a must-see destination that many recommend and plan to return to again.
