We had such a great time at our wheel-throwing class for two workshop! This 3 hour introductory class was top notch. Kendall gave a brief demonstration and got us going on our own wheels. Even with zero experience, her kind and thorough instruction guided us to create some really neat pieces. I'm excited to go back and pick up the finished pieces once they've been fired and glazed. Highly recommend! It was a fun and enjoyable experience celebrating our wedding anniversary at Kendall Davis Clay!

Highly recommend going to Kendall’s shop and participating in a ceramics class. It was my first one ever and it took me back to my high school art class days; only difference is I didn’t have to worry about a grade!This is a perfect activity for a couple looking for new experiences, friends celebrating a birthday or even a family wanting to try something different together. When you walk in, you see a brightly lit space with Kendall’s ceramic pieces adorning the shelves on the wall. In the middle of the room, is the working station with your materials for the session. And a nice little surprise, was finding out there was a wine shop/bar connected to the studio. Kendall encouraged us to grab a glass (or two) and enjoy during the class.We worked on a mug (you may do something different). And we got to choose which clay we wanted to use. Be aware, your pieces will have to go through the kiln, so you’ll have to pick them up at a later date.Kendall was very friendly, knowledgable and answered any and all questions that we had during the class. All in all, 10 for 10 experience. I recommend going, getting your hands dirty and being proud of whatever you come up with.

I recently attended a workshop (the coiling a vase one) and had so much fun! Kendall was so lovely and patient as a teacher. I’m not a potter nor have any experience with clay and she really took the time to check in on everyone and their progress. Offering help when asked or needed with out hesitation. If you’re looking for a fun and creative activity, look no further!! I hope to attend another one soon.

I love my pinch pot mugs! They’re beautiful. Thank you so much, Kendall! The larger one is actually the perfect size for a cortado; I’ve already taken it to two different coffee shops this week and all the baristas love it. Will definitely sign up for another clay workshop - hopefully soon!! ?

Kendall is SUCH a pleasure to work with! She is so talented, not only at creating beautiful clay pieces, but at giving direction as well. Her workshops truly are a treat--my whole family loves Kendall's classes! She remembers her customers by name, which says a lot about how much she values her patrons.
