We try to stay loyal to Kroger because this particular store is around the corner and we enjoy the fuel points. Problem is every time we do a pick up order there’s always something jacked up.
Today Kroger gave me french bread that was open and must’ve been open a while because the bread was rock hard. Needed fresh basil for a recipe but you substituted a plant which would’ve been great had it not been dead. Inconveniences like this happen all the time.
With the number of people switching to the new HEB you’d think Kroger would be better at trying to keep their remaining customers happy.

Customer service is so bad. Everyone on their cell phones. Workers at self checkout, unloading crates in pharmacy, even the guy outside wrangling carts! Get off your phones and offer to assist your customers!

Nice and clean Kroger! They tend to have a lot of really good in-store specials.

I shop at Kroger because it’s close to my house and the fuel points offset what I spend on groceries. But I love Kroger because the employees are great. Like today, I inadvertently left 2 items in a bag at the register and the young gentleman who checked me out actually brought m items to me as I was loading my groceries. Great work ethic.

They usually have what I need.
I went on Tuesday and two people were in the store without shoes. What happened to no shoes no service.
That’s unsanitary in addition to exposing yourself to liability injuries.

In places such as grocery stores where most interactions are simple transactions, a young man named Jacob gave me superb service that made my day.
As soon as he finished helping one lady, he attended to me. He answered all my questions about the chicken and made it sounds SOOO good, I ordered two combos. He said he enjoys cooking and working at Kroger. Just wanted to thank Jacob for my new favorite spot to eat chicken.

If some fruit like mangos are dry and not mature...have the decency to lower the price. The third time we bought it for more than 7.00usd not worth it...prefer going to Albertson's

Use the self checkout, and it treats you like a thief for having the audacity to not bag a 10 lbs box of drinks. Use the regular lanes, and get charged twice for half the items in your cart. Horrible service, horrible company.

Digital coupons with app only. I do hope this trend goes away. I was embarrassed at the checkout. Poor clerk seemed like he was well rehearsed at giving me the bad news. I walked right out and headed to Walmart. I am in the age group that despises app only digital nonsense. I guess I won’t trust price displays.
