Why in the world is Coke Zero 6 Pack Bottles now $9 for two 6 packs? This store is price gouging taking advantage of customers

Awful customer service. Worker Morgan at 10pm on March 8th 2025 laughing and mocking employees. Not sure the type of employees you hire here

3.5 is what i would give. They have young workers there and i am not sure how they are being trained but its the younger ones that wont bag any groceries unless you say something. I bag groceries every time i shop here but i do it as a courtesy. Yesterday the teenage boy that worked there stopped scanning because he saw there were lots of food items on the belt and he did not have room to continue scanning. As I'm bagging, i had to tell him, this would go quicker if you also bag the food as well. At the end when it was time for me to pay, i stopped bagging and told the teenage kid, the rest is on you. Kroger, you have to do better. The older generation that work there, always start bagging immediately while I'm also doing the same but the younger generation your hiring, is not doing a great job. Also show them customer service skills such greeting the customer with Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening. Im trying to stay a loyal customer but each month you keep pushing me away toward HEB.

The only good thing about this kroger is that it sucks so much, everyone goes to the HEB across the street so it's easy to get a parking space. No one there cares because they are poorly paid and management is more concerned about keeping their jobs in a failing concern than doing those jobs. The produce is over priced, blemished and soggy. And these are just the nice things I have to say about the place.
If you want fresh food, go to HEB. If you want a parking spot that's close to the store entrance, Kroger is your store.
Footnote. My kid just told me the cucumbers I bought there last week have been recalled due to salmonella. Nice job, Kroger. Why don't you bend over and touch your toes so I can go back in and return them personally. I'll be quick about it since it's Saturday night and parking is easy. See you soon.

The cashiers are just kind of strange here. And sometimes I can’t get the produce I want because it’s old and mushy.

Literally just left this place 5:55pm Tuesday Oct 29.
Went to the Food station… and was just stared at by 4 employees around the deli/bakery area. I guess they didn’t want to work today. Stood there for literally 15 minutes and all I wanted was some mashed potatoes to add to my dinner tonight. Not sure if the supervisors or Managers wear black polo shirts. But a guy named Jordan on his name tag didn’t even acknowledge me. He talked to another employee in the fruit/ vegetable section by the sushi and then went and straighten up some potatoe salad in the fridge and walked off. I see why HEB is doing much better and that’s where I took my money and will be taking it from here on out.

You know what's nice about HEB? They always bag your groceries.

When cashiers treat customers as unpaid employees to do our own bagging for the employees means this location of Kroger needs to close the doors permanently
I paid for several things at a register with a person. I believe it helps show the need for local jobs. The cashier put the bread in the bag, then turned away, went back to the register, her back facing me.
I waited, then asked, "Are you going to bag the rest? I was confused as to why she turned away and left the remaining items at the end of the belt. She said it wasn't her job. She was only to bag on one side of the belt. She said she bagged her side and wasn't my "servant." She said I should have asked her politely to bag the groceries. Since when to paying customers have to ask employees to do their job?
Then she walked to the next cashier and asked for a manager. A different Kroger employee came, started bagging the rest of the items. I asked, isn't your job to bag groceries? She said no. I asked for the manager, was told she was dealing with money and couldn't come to speak to me.
Since when do paying customers, who keep companies in business, have to do an employee job at Kroger?
I left, saw a young 20 something female at the coin machine, asked if she was the manager, explained what happened, said that if the video of the incident was turned on, they will see she bagged one one item, then walked away, I repeated the rest of the story to her.
At that same Kroger just two weeks ago. the cashier bagged the groceries I paid for that day, no attitude, no backtalk. The register overcharged me for 3 items.
This Kroger often has the items on the shelf scanned in cheaper than the price at the register. Two weeks ago, I was overcharged $5 for 3 separate items. The grapes were listed as 0.89 cents a pound. They rung up at $2.49 a pound. The young lady at the customer service center kept taking people from behind me on line to help them instead of me. I rarely go in it anymore. Sorry to see employees and systems continue to decline.
Does management at this Kroger store care? When you have store managers in their 20's struggling with employees with bad behavior towards customers, the answer is, NO. I refuse to reward paid employees for bad behavior towards customers.
Winco, Walmart, Aldi, and HEB retained this customer.

It seems like every time I stop here, they take a few dollars from me. I have had to go back in and get my refund for stuff they overcharged me. What they advertise as a special doesn't ring up, even when you clip the coupon and use your membership info. Make sure you are always checking your receipts. I feel this is done purposely until they show me different behaviors.

For an amazing deal on some Adirondack chairs! However, I was disappointed that they were out of the quart sized Kroger Heavy Whipping Cream. That seems to be an issue every time I come.

Very bad slip resistant shoes, stay away from their shoes, very expensive better to go to Walmart. Also return policy very bad once you leave the store you can not return them back.
