Going steadily downhill, ordered a ham and cheese crepe, which was burnt, the sauce was a thick cold blob and so salty I couldn't eat it. My husband had the country breakfast, with soggy bacon and potato fritte burnt to a crisp and a cold croissant. The only redeeming item was their coconut creme cake, which was moist and delicious, so was the creme brulee! Don't waste your money on macaroons...unremarkable. Coffee was watered down and less than interesting. Sad to see, loved going there for brunch. Quoth the raven: NEVERMORE!

Delicious as always, but I'm sad they haven't brought back the self-serve bread station yet.

My husband and I have been visited this place for 10 years now, now with our kids, food always good, you should try caramel creme brulee as dessert, their coffee always fresh but I missed those days befor CoVid when they had a self serving bread tray, I hope someday they put it

Great service and good every time we visit. We love getting to sit by the fire. This is our go-to when we’re in town.

Desserts and very rich and yummy. We sat by the fire while we ate our desserts. I had a caramel crème brûlée and my husband had the lemon tart. Will definitely come back.

Dec 2023: No menus of any kind. Inattentive staff (prior customer had to return to register to correct staff's oversight, I had to clarify my simple crepe order multiple times, and staff inconsistently provided table markers that caused half the orders to be carried table-by-table in search of receipts). Food quality and quantity remain well below pre-Covid; my once-dinner-plate-size crepe was smaller than a saucer, barely registered any flavor, and contained merest specs of its supposed contents (yet $11). My food was so unrecognizable that when it eventually came to my table I initially sent it back as the wrong order (the staff member said with a hearty chuckle that she didn't know how my ordered item was supposed to look). I miss the real La Madeleine and consider it lost.Jan 2020: Menu seems halved during Covid. Appetizer breads and spreads removed without offering menu alternative.

Food is very good considering how busy they usually are. Never been disappointed.
