While I didn’t like that I had to see an attendant to pay with my credit card, the employee working was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel better about my day. Thank you for being awesome. (I wish I got her name. She was working at 3:30pm on July 23.)

The only reason I’m giving this place five stars is because I feel so bad for the really tall white guy that works there. He’s always there anytime I go, I’m starting to think it’s the only employee… clean store and good prices but that poor man needs a break or a raise

My husband and i go to Murphy's every day to get gas and cigarettes ext. I do that because I get discounts on the app. Because I type in my phone number. I don't know if yalls employees need to be retrained or what because they seem to not understand that that is the main reason majority of the customers come there. Because we get discounts on the app for using our number. Most of the time yalls employees don't want to let us put in our number. And they get madwhen we make them redo so we can put are numbers in an then they don't want to accept the fact that we're getting a discount. Yall need to restrain those employees because my husband lost his discounts today because yalls employee didn't want to do her job it was around 10:50am on July 30th this is becoming ridiculous. They should no how to do there jobs by now an they need to start learning how to listen instead of ringing me up for something i didn't Ask for. I asked for 2 packs of cigarettes. She rang me up for 4 he told her something was not right.She wanted to act like he didn't know what the hell he was talking about. She took it off re rang up the 2 packs of cigarettes and then try to say well that aint right.Why are they that cheap? He told her I get a discount with my number from the app. She rung it up a third time. He had a marlborough coupon on the second one She said they shouldn't be that cheap. He told her it was from the app. I got a discount. I had also used my Marlboro coupons instead listening to him. She canceled it an rang it up a third time. Therefore it took away our Marlboro coupon. That I pay points for now. I can't even use that coupon because she wanted to ring up a third time. So I just lost A $3 coupon because the lady doesn't want to listen to the customer because what do we know right. Just know it take 13packs of cigarettes just to get points for $3 off an thats messed up that she just allowed it to happen all because she didn't won't to be wrong And then she tells him yall don't have deals on monsters anymore. That is not what your app says. But guess what when she rang it up the deal for 4 rang up an she's like no that's not right an my husband said look I'm not going to do this all day left me pay for my stuff so I can go an I won't be coming back as long as you work here an only then did she won't to let us pay for our stuff and leave this is mind blowing that she did this an clearly she doesn't know how to do her job. I will not return to this store till she is gone an I received reimbursement for me $3 coupon yall are a billion dollar company there's no reason yall should be ripping yalls customers off have the day you deserve.

The store closes at different times every night. Despite it sitting with the gate up and all and someone answering the phone, they insist they close at 12 despite online saying they close at 12:30 and THEM ANSWERING THE PHONE! The gate is open on the main side, the lights are off inside of in the store however. Cameron seems to be the only one that stays open until the actual store closing time. Everyone else closes or opens the store and just sit there until they see fit. If you close at 12:30 then I should be able to walk in at 12:25 with no issues, especially if you’re still getting PAID! They close registered and everything WAY prior to the closing time. So annoying! Why change the close time if your workers aren’t going to work until that time? Close the store or find people that actually what to work. The one on Hulen is much better!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!
My husband (was) a frequent customer of this store location at 7001 Oakmont blvd in Ft Worth. I don't get out much due to serious health issues but we had gone out together for the first time in months and stopped in on the way home to pick up a couple of items. As we were paying at the register, the guy working named, Cameron, and the other guy, didn't get his name, not sure if he was working there or if he was hanging out with the guy who was behind the counter, but he was hangin around and didn't appear to be a customer. Anyway, he starts vetting us about our political affiliation. They both escalated their opinions very quickly and we had no intention of engaging with these two! We were just trying to complete our transaction and leave! The dreadlock guy behind the counter wasn't trying to calm things down either, and gave the impression that he was friends with the hot headed one! I'll never go to this store again but I would recommend that place to my worst enemy! Politics and religion have no place in any work environment. There's a reason that most companies have banned these types of discussions and I have no doubt that those two guys are going to harass the wrong customer one day.

I was hired for a different location but "trained" at this one. The only negatives I can say is they weren't very caring of my PTSD and utilizing my strengths as a stocker(I got 7 totes done within an hour) I can stock like it's nobody else's business. Second, one of the workers Cameron is a major bully and honestly sketchy dude. He bullied me over having to take a bathroom break and just made my overall experience during the few hours I got(and didn't get paid for) very uncomfortable and uneasy. Even other employees called him out on the bullying and was supposedly written up, yet he's still there giving less than desirable customer service. Amy and Seph have fun!Edit to add: changed to 1 star, y'all don't even deserve that now and I hope y'all never find any good employees like y'all been doing

12/22/23 I went to get some gas. As I pull on the door, a black guy with locs come out of the bathroom with his phone on his ear. He works here. I told him I was coming to get gas. He said we you can pay at the pump. I told him, I don’t pay at the pump. He said well I’m cleaning give me five minutes. I said so you’re really going to make a paying customer wait five minutes until you’re done cleaning the bathroom? He said yea just wait five minutes I said sir but I’m coming to buy gas like I’m a paying customer. I asked for the managers number and he told me that he would call and put the manager on speaker phone. Then he said that he wasn’t picking up and that he would give me his number. He finished with the bathroom, looked at me like I was wrong and then started sweeping. And after he was done sweeping he started removing the trash. All while I was standing there waiting to get gas. Another customer came. Then more cars started coming. After he seen the other cars he finally opened the door. I was waiting for at least 10-15 minutes to get gas. He starts telling a monologue about how he was the only one doing the work, people keep quitting, he’s been there for a year…etc etc. he really did not want to help me. All because I told him that I was a customer and that customers come first. I went to pump my gas and went back in to ask him what his name was. He said Cameron. Thank you Cameron for showing me the reason why I have no hope for American customer service. Over the years our customer service workers have ran these businesses down to the ground. Cameron’s attitude and demeanor was very unprofessional and he continued to be unprofessional after he was called out on his behavior. I am not looking for any gain except that Cameron is held accountable for his actions. And this is the Murphy Express on 7001 Calmont Blvd. I will never get gas at a Murphy’s Express/USA again!
