Terrible customer service. A representative had me patiently waiting for 45 minutes just to get a document signed and then when finally called was told I could not be assisted and a “special” department needed to complete the form. Remind you, the form that was needed to be completed has been done at the same branch location before. There is way too much inconsistency with the information that is given between employees & consumers that are investing their time & money into this bank.I will be moving my money elsewhere.

I was very satisfied with their overall performance. Then, without any notification, they restricted me from viewing my online statement and transactions halfway through several months. They gave no explanation and exhibited total bewilderment when I confronted them regarding this unknown policy. No professionalism and no customer service from a second rate scrub bank.

I have to say banking with Navy Federal has been the best by far to bank with. From the moment you walk in they always great you and offer help, to the bankers themselves are always smiling and very helpful. And as you leave they acknowledge you as well, thanking you and Have a great day! For me I love this and it truly makes a difference. Navy federal on 8424 Lakewood Hill, Fort Worth y’all are awesome.

UPDATE: I love the Dividend/Interest Rates on the checking accounts at 0.45% compared to 0.01% at banks and their CD specials at 3.00% vrs. 0.10%I recently joined the Navy Federal Credit Union through my Father and Brother both being (retired/active) Air Force Veterans. I can already see a difference at Navy FCU compared to a regular civilian bank. Being a Credit Union member makes you feel you're more vested in the business and not just a customer. They have a huge selection of Checking, Savings, Money Market, IRAs and CD accounts.Interest rates can vary weekly and fluctuate with the economy. In comparison, my banks interest rate don't even come close to the rates at Navy FCU. There are the normal fees like a bank, but many can be avoided by choosing the right account type from the options available that is best for you.The bank representatives are knowledgeable and friendly and can easily answer all your questions. There were ample associates and there was little or no waiting for assistance. I like the fact the representative said it's not their goal to charge members a bunch of fees.I plan to close my account at my old bank I've had forever because they started charging $2 for a check register when you re-order checks when they have always been free. They are trying to lose customers, uh... I mean charge fees whenever possible. The lobby was clean and spacious. They are Covid-19 compliant so wear your mask and social distance yourself. I'll just say that it doesn't matter what my belief or choice is in wearing a mask, but if I choose to go into any business that requires one then I am making a choice to follow their policy or I can choose to go somewhere else. It's not about whether I had Covid-19 yet (or not), whether I am vaccinated (or not) or whether i think it's a conspiracy (or not). All that would be my issues and not the teller who is just trying to safely be at work to help me with my needs.Who really wants to wear a mask? I do it to protect myself, you and other people. I try to think that another person could have a lower immune system which could be bad for them or could be in the incubation period of having Covid-19 which could be bad for me. It's just not worth it. Just don't be one of "those" people. They print debit cards on site so instead of using a temporary or waiting for a card, you get the actual card. They also can print 20 checks to get you started with your name on it (w/o your address or phone) for free. Navy FCU also has checkbook covers and registers if you need one. They have online banking and bill pay and all the things that banks offer. After 30 days of membership, you can qualify to use digital deposits. There are only two negatives and neither is a deal breaker for me. The first is there is no drive thru but they do have a walk up ATM and an ATM network to use at other locations. The other negative is the limited location, but with online banking that is not that big of a deal. The benefits far out way the negatives.

Got to the bank at 528 and doors were already locked and at 5:29 an employee exited and said oh sorry. I needed to get a cashiers check and this is unacceptable

I went in on today and obviously a mistake with the system was made. I stay 25 minutes from this place, and went back in twice. I was told some misleading information so I was driving an ADDITIONAL 30 minutes to another branch since I didn’t want to deal with this branch. I was on the phone with a Navy Federal customer rep, and she informed me that the next nearest location was actually on base and was restricted. So I had to turn BACK around and come to the location where I was originally at. The “manager” gave me the same woman that put in my information the first time. She had the NERVE to have a little stank attitude. I will NOT come back to this location.

Terrible. There are a number of credit unions that offer vastly superior services for military personnel and families than NFCU. Do your research and look around. Don’t assume this CU will take care of you just because you’re military and they have “army” and “navy” in the name. There are far better options, particularly for military and veterans, and you’ll be better off “shopping around.”

I really enjoy doing business with NFCU I just wish they had drive through ATM for their disabled customers it’s so hard to find a parking place then try to physically get to the ATM.I also wish they had more store fronts in the fat north side of Fort Worth Texas close to Texas Motors speedway

Update. Here is the Co-Op logo. Look for it on ATM's. When you use your NFCU debit or credit card there are NO FEES ! Try 7-Eleven's. Most store have the logo on their machines. Cherokee ? Mike

I was approved for a home loan. I called leaving messages for loan officer Dawn, to get the correct address to mail her my w-2, paystubs info and papers that I signed. I returned my paperwork to the address on the envelope to Lakewood Hill Dr,Ft Worth,Tx. After, mailing the paperwork, loan officer Dawn, called and saying it was ok, even though it wasn’t her branch and she would have someone there to send it to her. Since, two weeks had passed and I found a home and called Dawn, who never called to say she never received the paperwork. I was then told by her that she never received the paperwork. I let her know didn’t receive a call, voicemail or an email saying she or her assistant needed anything from me. I ended up going with my realtors lender and got a better rate and a new home. I will be closing all accounts with navy federal and I’m now with a better credit union that gives 1% back my checking account that must maintain $5,000 and make 20 transactions a month. It’s better than any CD or IRA. Thanks Dawn.
