Terrible customer service and bad attitude.

RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Bought a high dollar gift card ($500 Amazon). Receipt says will be activated within 24 hours but did not activate. Came back to store to either exchange it out or get it activated. Parker, the manager wouldn't help me at all on this. He recommended a chargeback on the credit card so I guess that's what I have to do. I have never heard of a manager of a store recommending a chargeback. Just bad business practices. I just want the gift card activated so I can use it. Will never come here again.

Lost a $200 sale today.
Went in to buy an office chair, kid on salesfloor said they were out. We asked if we could buy floor model, and he said yes but we'd have to pay the $15 for assembly fee. Another kid at register said he'd have to as the mgr. Mgr said no, because he didn't wanna have to put another together. The kid that said we could buy it mentioned to the cashier that he told us it was ok....cashier said he didn't wanna get in trouble. Mgr didn't even bother to talk to us. Left the chair in front of all the people in line behind us and walked out. I'll spend my $200 elsewhere.

Came in to get copies, everyone that signed in after me was assisted. Good thing I was able to sit down in my walking boot. I was told after paying, and waiting for 30 minutes that cutting is not a same day service, so they were waiting for someone to cut them.

I visited this store today at noon time. I was helped in the printing area by Ms. Lanora, her service was excellent , she attended my every need without complaint, I could see in her eyes that she was happy to help. I changed my mind several times because I have no knowledge of computers, cell phones, I’m just old fashioned and Lanora assisted me with no problem. We need more people like her. Thank you young lady for excellent service, my prayer is that God continue to bless and keep you!!!! Thank you Management and Staff for going far and beyond!!!

I dropped in for some dry erase markers and they were on sale but rang up regular price. The cashier, Matthew, was fantastic! He was patient and professional and it was delightful dealing with him.

First, I would to say how sad I am to hear of the Office Depot closure located on I 30 and Greenoaks Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas. That store made it easy for me as a handicap wheelchair person to be able to get into the store as well as being able to go up and down the isles with plenty of room without running into other people.
Now, I don’t have any option but to shop at the Office Depot on 183 and Hulen Street, which is not as handicap accessible /friendly and the isles are un-organized and small for me to be able to get through. They’re much taller, which means I cannot reach a lot of the items. In addition, this particular Office Depot does not carry the majority of the items that I typically shop for as a prior Office Max consumer. It’s fine that Office Depot bought out OfficeMax, but I was hoping that Office Deport would continue to sell some of the same items that were sold by OfficeMax.
Now, if I really need to make a change, I don’t have Any choice other than to go to Staples? And no offense to Staples, however they don’t carry near the same kind of products that I have grown to use over the years.

Recently like with-in a week or so I bought a 12 pack of Ticonderoga Pencils. The package had writing on it saying best pencil in the world.I wanted a #2 soft pencil. that is what is on the box. It is the most hardest pencil I have ever seen, horrible pencil

I asked for cash back and the manager was bothered by the fact he had to give me cash back. I attempted to help out and all I got was was a eye roll and a shhh.

Manager Gavin ignore me while I am was waiting to be assist. After over 5 minutes, another employee assist me. She stated , how May I help you. I told her thank you for not ignoring me. Because Gavin completely ignore my presence. I have tried calling the Office Depot to go to file a complaint and had no luck. I requested district manager and regional manager name and phone number. I was told Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday that they cannot give out that number. I had to go through office to go to file a complaint. I called and spoke to manager Alexander and I went the same day to the store. Stated again nothing they can do. I called again Thursday, spoke to store manager Julio and he stated he could not do anything but as protocol he was going to send an email. That I should get a call. I still have not received any phone calls from anyone.
My name is Linda Sanchez I need to file a complaint. I would like for a district or regional manager contact me. I went to Office Depot store # 3245 today, 03/05/2024 at about 6:50 pm -7 pm. I went in to get two different types of documents to be binded. Manager Gavin assisted me and stated he could not get done and I would have to pay for it and pick it up in 24 hours. Gavin stated he can help the people he wanted to help right away and have other people wait. He then walk away to try to look busy. I told him I would wait, he had a face expression he did not care and walk away. Then at 7:06 pm , Two different customers approach the copying request area and Gavin assisted them immediately.
Please note I had made two different trips to the stores. Sunday, 03/03/2024 and again n 03/05/2024.
Both times left with no assistance and no information to contact both district/regional managers information.

Greeted as soon as I entered. Needing copies printed for a next day event- signing in at the kiosk was self explanatory and easy. The wait was short, and staff assisting were both knowledgeable and prompt. I took notice to how attentive all of the staff were throughout the store. Very pleasant experience. Will return for future needs and recommend to anyone in the area. Store seemed well stocked and organized.
