I went to this location twice in the last few months for a used car that I bought. The staff here is so friendly and timely with repairs. Kat and Aaron were always so great when I called. Devon got a new transmission in my van in less than a week. Superb guys

Got caught on a Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth and needing an alternator and took about three hours and nearly $800 to get us going. Average price anywhere else only given day is around $300 for a new GM alternator installed. These people are thieves and take advantage of the situation so beware.
We are seniors on a budget and we’re out of town so we didn’t have an option on a Saturday afternoon and I promise you I will never use these people on purpose because of the way they treated us.. If I had been home, I could’ve gone to O’Reilly and bought an alternator for $90 and installed it myself.

I made my appointment online with no problems.
I showed up on time and they immediately took my car and did an oil change.
The oil change was done in excellent time.
I usually service my Mini Cooper at AutoNation and I will now have Pep Boys service my Mini Cooper with all maintenance requirements.
Brett did an excellent job on my car. I am so impressed. I did not have to wait 3-4 hours like I did at the other service center. I will be back.

Don’t get any work here done unless it’s simple work, took my 2014 Chevy Silverado in for suspension repairs, control arm bar replacement, alignment ect. Not a week later I lost a wheel on 377, due to loose a loose ball joint. I took it to another mechanic, he stated whom ever did my suspension work is trying to kill me. He get it fixed up and not more that a week or two later my caliper on my front drivers side falls off on I-35 and hits and blows my tire in the middle of traffic also making it to where I couldn’t break safely. I get it towed to another show where that say, and I have it in writing that the calipers bolts were barely on, I have them fix it, I’m then referred to G2 garage to have them look over everything. They find two more extremely loose bolts, all these issues are directly tied to whomever did my first suspension repair, costing me thousands in repairs and work time lost. I’m sure some of their mechanics are good enough, but whom ever got ahold of my truck for repairs should be reminded that their mess up can potentially kill people. G2 garage says Iv got a lawsuit on my hands. I’m looking into options now. G2 garage and myself have inquired with pepboys and we were told to get lost essentially.

My experience with the Pep Boys on Camp Bowie and Alta Mere can only be described as phenomenal. Words can't attribute to how pleased I am with the customer service that I received during my visit. I first entered the store under major distress. My trusty Toyota Tacoma had emitted a bright orange light from the gauge cluster, warning me of what was to come. My truck needed an oil change and tire rotation, and there was only one place I knew I could go. I strolled right on into Pep Boys (on Camp Bowie and Alta Mere) and was greeted by the nicest representative, Aaron. Aaron had my car in the bay immediately, and I was squared away within minutes. I relocated myself to their nearby waiting room, with many comfortable seats at my convinience. Quite dehydrated, I was pleased to find a mini-fridge filled with cold and refreshing water. After satiating my thirst, I felt I was in need of a quick bathroom break. The bathroom, only a short walk from the waiting room and easily accessible, was clean and smelled pleasant. After finishing my business in the restroom, I exited. As soon as I had sat right back down in the comfortably cushioned seat of the waiting room, I noticed my car pull out of the bay. In record time at that! This is the fastest experience I've had anywhere, ever. An oil change and tire rotation completed within 20 minutes of my arrival. I returned to the front counter where Aaron confirmed the work done to my beautiful truck. Along with that, he had even found me a coupon for the oil change that I had just gotten, saving me some money as well. Someone as helpful and knowledgeable as Aaron is exactly who I would want to go to every single time I get work done to my car. Not only did he assist in helping me rid the horrible maintenance light on my dashboard, he made the experience quick and super friendly. I will forever be faithful to the Pep Boys on Camp Bowie and Alta Mere and will never forget my efficient and positive experience with associate Aaron. Thank you Pep Boys on Camp Bowie and Alta Mere!

Unprofessional. In the 3 weeks they had my car, they didn’t call me not one time to update me on anything, I had to keep calling them ….during the holidays & I picked my car up with a missing needed piece, they said they would call to put the piece on and still haven’t called. Overall the issue I had with my car is fixed which I’m very grateful but the wait time is ridiculous, I wouldn’t go back to this location. Having a car is a necessity and being without because people are slow to do their jobs is unacceptable.
