I have been taking my puppy to PetSmart Grooming since he was a baby and now he is 6 months old. Usually I take him to the PetSmart on Hulen Street in Fort Worth with a groomer named Cat V. (Who is amazing!!!) Today I scheduled a last minute appointment and my normal groomer was not available so I took him to the PetSmart on Bryant Irvin with a groomer named Sky and had the worst experience. First, when I came in they told me I was going to be upcharged because my mini golden doodle is larger than a mini golden doodle. Which he is not because when I looked it up, my dog falls under the range of a mini golden doodle as he is only 6 months. They decided to change his breed to a Cockapoo and then a Standard Goldendoodle so my price would go up when that is NOT his breed. I didn’t have time to argue with them so I left and they told me to pick him up at 6. He was ready at 5:30pm and he barely looked any different despite my in depth description of how I wanted him cut, but being it was nearing 6:00 on Christmas Eve, I wasn’t going to argue. Also, they had no concrete explanation for them changing his breed and my price and admitted to it seeming like they are scamming people out of money because they could not provide a breed to height/weight and price breakdown when I asked. Not only that but they didn’t even wash my dog! And I know it for a fact because I had given him a bath myself the day before and he smelled faintly like the shampoo I wash him with and outside. I paid $130 dollars at this horrible location with these scammers while at my other PetSmart location I have paid $70-80. Whatever you do do NOT take your sweet pet to these people and definitely don’t ask for Sky. She wasn’t able to handle any of my questions or concerns and had other groomers talking for her. Thank God my dog is naturally cute…this was horrible service.

When, we went today for grooming our dog misbehaved, they gave us the grooming free. Staff are nice, and store is very very clean.

Employees need to learn customer service skills. I had to ask if I had any points which in other stores they always offer me if I want to use. I spent almost an $100, of course I want to use them. Also I was not informed on my code for the ID tag so I had a hard time because apparently you need to leave off a number. How was I to know if she didn’t tell me. The one with green braids needs to go to classes.

I finally found my forever groomer with Madie!! My 1 yr old shih tzu is really nervous getting groomed and Madie was so patient and kind . My dog looks so good! Perfect cut ! Madie I couldn’t be more happy.

I scheduled a grooming appointment online for my puppy, and I called to get some more info. I was lucky enough to talk to Taylor who helped me understand what kind of grooming appointment my baby actually needed. She's so sweet, and helpful. Thank you Taylor. I feel relaxed about my puppy's upcoming grooming appointment now. :)
