Lots of nice things for the outdoors. Unfortunately, more than I need, but want. Great help from the people there.

This place is so awesome. If you or someone you need to buy for that likes the outdoors. This is the place. They have everything from cups, to stoves , to sleeping bags, to e- bikes, to the latest shoes, backpacking supplies, hiking supplies, to rain gear, climbing gear, watches this list and go on infinitum. Needless to say I love this place. They partner in their local communities and take the environmental issues seriously. Plus if you become a member you get a small percentage of your purchase back to use again instore. Today picked up 3 pairs of water proof hiking shoes,

Bike shop employees are excellent. Michelle’s recommendations on soft goods can’t be beat.

REI has a pretty decent selection of items for most outdoor activities. Some of their prices are on the higher side, but the items appear to be good quality. They have quite a few bike, hiking and water related gadgets.

My family and I went to this store looking for new shoes. A very nice lady named Abbie helped us. She was professional, knowledgeable, fantastic at listening to concerns and suggesting brands and shoe structures based on the individual. I walked in set on a particular brand but after talking to Abbie and explaining my concerns she helped my find a completely different shoe that was much better for me. Everyone else was also very nice, courteous and personable. This was an amazing visit.

Slightly mixed feelings about this place. I didn't know it existed until I went to shop for a particular item and they were the only place locally who carried it. It's a very cool store if you're into anything outdoors! I felt extremely awkward for the first half of my visit. The staff did not greet me nor ask if I needed help. There were five different staff members who just looked at me and then went back to chatting with their coworkers. I had to seek someone out for assistance and almost left.Once I asked for assistance though, the staff were very prompt and knowledgeable. Although in hindsight, it was mostly just talking about the co-op and upselling the membership rather than the products I had questions about. I did end up getting a membership since you get a $30 gift card that pretty much makes it free (once you use it on your return trip). Some of the stuff seems pretty overpriced but it looks like they have really good member deals and sales.

Abbie helped my boyfriend pick out his first pair of serious hiking boots. She listened, gave great tips, and was an excellent sales person. I recommend talking to her.

Won't sell you a bike without a giving them a phone number and email address! Sorry I wanted a bike not years of spam.

Gonna be honest here, I miss being closer to the Dallas location. I’m a member and my last shopping trip here was just uncomfortable. I felt pressured to give up a pair of shoes I was trying on to an unruly customer who was hell bent on having them because she saw them a couple weeks prior. It was only until I was trying them on that she suddenly became interested in them. I picked them up on the shelf. I had 3 people come up to me to basically dissuade me from buying the shoes. I felt super uncomfortable during what was supposed to be a relaxing shopping trip. I’ve shopped at other locations and never felt so uncomfortable….weirdest I’ve ever felt at a REI location.
