Firstly I will take full responsibility that I accidentally hit make payment twice on my loan and took the hit and waiting until I got my money back. After this, it is rocket mortgages policy to try to get the payment A SECOND TIME, even after I called and let them know and they acknowledged this was a mistake. They charged me a total of three times. This is crazy.

I’m a veteran who has never missed a mortgage payment in 12 years—until I was forced into a financial nightmare by Rocket Mortgage.
After switching insurance providers, the refund check was sent and deposited into my escrow. But Rocket Mortgage ignored that, ran an analysis anyway, and jacked up my monthly payment from $1,570 to $2,750—overnight. No real explanation. No meaningful help. Just a shrug and a suggestion to refinance with them, as if that was some kind of solution.
I made call after call, sent messages, documented everything—and was met with complete indifference. The result? They reported a late payment and tanked my credit. Not because I was irresponsible, but because they were.
This isn’t a simple mistake. It’s negligence and abuse, especially toward veterans who are required to use escrow accounts with VA loans. Rocket Mortgage is taking advantage of that system—and people like me.
I’ve filed complaints with HUD, the VA, and consumer protection agencies. If you value your finances, your credit, or your peace of mind—stay far away from Rocket Mortgage.

Loved working with Frank! He truly went above and beyond to provide us a timely pre-approval letter (within a few hours) and continued to work with us until we found the perfect house. He was very knowledgeable in VA loans which helped put our mind at ease. The entire home buying process can be stressful, having a loan officer you can trust like Frank is priceless because it’s one less thing to worry about! Highly recommend!

First time home buyers! We chose Frank Super after speaking with several recommendations. Thank goodness we did! Frank was always very kind, friendly, and easygoing, happy to explain the process that we would go through buying a house and getting the financial side ready for closing. His communication was on point; he updated us the moment he finished a task and let us know what more we needed to do to proceed. He was always ready to answer a question and was quick to provide all the paperwork we needed to move in to our new home. He was literally the best option and if we ever plan to move again, we are ready to call him up! My experience was absolutely great! Frank and his team went above and beyond to help us.
